18% GST levied on Gangajal provided by Post Offices
If you wish to buy Ganga Jal from the Post Office, you will have to pay a high amount for it. The Government of India‘s Ministry of Communications and Department of Posts made this decision.

A 250ml bottle that used to cost Rs. 30 will now cost Rs. 35, and a 500ml bottle that used to cost Rs. 38 will now cost Rs. 43.
