PFRDA Recruitment 2022: PFRDA which is also abbreviated as Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority, is the regulatory body that operates under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, and it is created for overall supervision and regulation of pensions in India. The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Act was passed on 19th September of the year 2013, and currently, PFRDA is regulating NPS, subscribed by employees of Govt. of India, State Governments. 

The PFRDA department offers job opportunities to those who wish to get recruited for vacant posts, and currently, it is hiring eligible professionals for the job profile of Officer Grade‘A’ (Assistant Manager) in multiple streams namely General, Finance and Accounts, Information Technology, Research (Economics), Legal and Official Language (Rajbhasha). There are a total of 22 vacancies for the mentioned post, out of which 15 are reserved in the General stream, 2 vacancies are available in Finance & Accounts, 1 is for Infomation Technology, 1 in Research, 2 in Legal, and the remaining 1 is reserved in the Official Language (Rajbhasha) stream.

Education qualifications for Officer Grade‘A’ (Assistant Manager) in General

The educational qualifications required to apply for the following post in the General stream include a Master’s Degree in any discipline or graduate Degree in Law or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or ACA/ FCA from ICAI or ACS/ FCS from ICSI or ACMA/ FCMA from ICMAI (erstwhile AICWA/ FICWA from ICWAI) or CFA from CFA Institute. 

In Finance and Accounts

Graduate degree from a recognized university AND ACA/ FCA from ICAI or ACS/ FCS from ICSI or ACMA/ FCMA from ICMAI (erstwhile AICWA/ FICWA from ICWAI) or CFA from CFA Institute are the qualifications required to apply for the post in the following department.

In Information Technology

Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (electrical / electronics and communication/information technology/computer science) or master’s in Computer Application or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a post-graduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in computers/information technology will be preferred eligible for the post.

In Research (Economics)

To apply for the post in the Research (Economic) department, candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Economics/ Commerce/ Business Administration (Finance)/ Econometrics.

In Legal

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University/ Institute to apply for the post.

In Official Language (Rajbhasha)

Candidate must hold a Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at the Bachelor’s Degree level or a Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/ English/ Economics/ Commerce with Hindi as a subject at the Bachelor’s Degree level from a recognized University/ Institute. 

Age Limit

The age limit preferred to apply for the post of Officer Grade‘A’ (Assistant Manager) in any of the mentioned streams is 30 years as of the closing date of the receipt of applications.
