Gujarat’s Trimandir hosted the opening of the Mission Schools of Excellence. He also opened construction projects totaling 4,260 crores.

The Mission, which has a total budget of Rs. 10,000 crores, is designed to improve the state’s educational facilities by constructing new classrooms, smart classrooms, computer labs, and other improvements.

In his remarks, the prime minister declared that this occasion would mark a turning point toward a thriving Gujarat and India. In his discussion about the advancement of 5G technology, he claimed that India will undergo a transformation as a result of 5G. “5G will advance the educational system beyond smart buildings, smart classrooms, and smart lessons. The power of virtual reality and the internet of things is now accessible to our younger pupils in the classroom. The nation’s first and most important step has been taken by the Mission Schools of Excellence in Gujarat.

He continued by saying that over the previous 20 years, Gujarat had seen a variety of educational developments. The people of Gujarat have demonstrated the evolution of their state’s educational system during the past 20 years. Gujarat saw the construction of more than 1.25 lakh new classrooms and the hiring of more than 2 lakh teachers.

PM Modi referred to the “Gunotsav,” saying that aptitude, talents, and capacities of the students were assessed, and appropriate solutions were recommended to raise the standard of education. In Gujarat’s Vidiya Sameeksha Kendra, the “Gunotsav” is being conducted with more sophisticated technology. The state has always taken part in various noteworthy and significant educational experiments. We founded Gujarat’s first university for teacher preparation, the Institute of Teachers Education.

In addition to computer-aided learning laboratories in more than 20,000 schools, according to PM Modi, TV had already reached 15,000 classrooms in Gujarat ten years prior. Many of these approaches had long since become essential components of Gujarati schools. Today, more than 4 lakh teachers and more than 1 crore pupils in Gujarat register their attendance online. Gujarat will welcome 20,000 schools into the 5G era of learning.

5G will assist in ensuring that everyone, especially those in rural places, has access to the best information, methodology, and teachers. The new National Education Policy will crash to the ground due to the lack of variety and flexibility in educational opportunities. 14,500 PM-SHRI schools will serve as role models for how the National Education Policy should be implemented. The plan will cost 27 thousand crore rupees, he claimed.

According to PM Narendra Modi, the New National Education Policy, is an effort to break the nation free from the mindset of servitude and to foster talent and innovation. English language proficiency was regarded as a sign of intelligence. Language, however, is merely a means of communication. But for so many years, the language barrier had prevented the nation from taking advantage of the talent pool found in rural areas and in low-income households. This situation is changing right now. The study of science, technology, and medicine can also be done in Indian languages for students. Gujarati courses are among the Indian languages that are being developed.

“India has enormous potential to develop into a leading knowledge economy worldwide. I can confidently assert that India will produce the majority of scientific and technological advancements in the twenty-first century. Gujarat has always been known for manufacturing as well as for trade and business. However, Gujarat is evolving as the nation’s information and innovation hub in the twenty-first century. The Mission Schools of Excellence will undoubtedly improve this spirit, the prime minister affirmed.

Bhupendra Patel, the chief minister of Gujarat, Acharya Devvrat, the governor, Jitubhai Vaghani, Kuberbhai Dindor, and Kiritsinh Vaghela were occasionally present.
