CSBC Recruitment 2022 for 689 Vacancies: Check Post, Eligibility, Pay Level and How to Apply

CSBC Recruitment 2022: The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC), Bihar has invited Applications from the Candidates Eligible in respect of Recruitment into the Posts of Prohibition Constables under the Prohibition, Excise & Registration Department (PERD). Among the Intending Candidates, those having fulfilled the Eligibility including Educational Qualification, Physical Standards Measurement etc., and are desirous of applying for the Recruitment Opportunity, Carefully read the Instructions in related to Selection of Prohibition Constables in the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department.

There are 689 Vacancies including 272 Posts for Un-Reserved Category Candidates and 09 Back Log Vacancies and 14 Posts have been allocated to Pension endorsed Ex-Service-Men.

14th December 2022 (14.12.2022) is the Last Date for the Eligible Candidates to complete the Online Application Process together with Scanned Signatures, Photographs, Self-attested Photocopies of the Certificates related to the Educational Qualification in a PDF File, Aadhar Card, Voter Identity Card, Examination Fee, etc.

Selection Process: The Central Selection Board of Constable will carry out the Selection Process in reference to filling the Posts of Prohibition Constables in the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department through 02 Stages, i.e., Stage 1: OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Examination and Stage 2: Physical Standards Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Category-specific and Community-wise Merit List and Subsequently Medical Examination

Stage 1: The OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Examination shall be held for Maximum 100 Marks against 100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions, which remains Qualifying in nature. Stage 2: The Physical Efficiency Test for Total 100 Marks comprises i) Race for up to Maximum 50 Marks; ii) Shotput for up to Maximum 25 Marks and iii) High Jump for up to Maximum 25 Marks.

Physical Standards Measurement: The Physical Standards laid down for Prohibition Constable Post are as follows:

A) Height:

a) For Male (UR and BC) Candidates: Height: 165 Cm.

b) EBC/SC/ST Candidates: 160 Cm.

c) General Category Women the Female under all Reserved Communities: Height: 155 Cm.

B) Chest:

a) Male (UR, BC and EBC) Candidates: Chest: Minimum 81 Cm. (Unexpanded) and Minimum Expanded: 86 Cm.

b) SC/ST Candidates: b) Chest: Minimum 79 Cm. (Unexpanded) and Expanded: Minimum 84 Cm.

C) Weight:

For Males and Females: In proportion to Height and Age as per the Medical Standards. However any Woman should necessarily have Minimum 48 Kg Weight.

In the case of Kinnar/Kothi/Eunuch/Transgender (Third Gender) Candidates, the Physical Efficiency Test Measurement will remain similar to that of Backward Class Women.
