SAI Recruitment 2022: Sports Authority of India (SAI), an autonomous organization under the administrative control of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, has invited applications for hiring eligible and interested candidates for the post of Secretary, Sports Authority of India, an autonomous body under the Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, in the Pay Matrix (Level 4 – Rs. 1,44,200 — Rs. 2,18,200) on deputation basis.

All the Ministries/Departments are requested to forward the applications of willing and eligible officers in the prescribed proforma to the undersigned so as to reach this Office latest by 30^th December 2022. Interested Officers may send an advance copy of their applications if they so desire. However, the same will be considered only after his/her application is received through the proper channel and complete in all respects.

Eligibility for SAI Recruitment 2022:

Officers of Central Government (including Officers of All India Service and Central Civil Service Group “A

Holding post on regular basis in the Pay Matrix (13, 13-A & 14 or equivalent in the parent Cadre/Department;

Minimum 15 years experience in dealing with service, administration, vigilance, establishment and financial matters and experience in handling Autonomous Organizations and Public Private Partnership (PPP) Projects and possessing qualifications in Business Administration.

Domain expertise in the field of sports is desirable.

Pay Level for SAI Recruitment 2022:

Level 14 (R s. 1,44,200 — Rs. 2,18,200)

Tenure for SAI Recruitment 2022:

The contractual engagement will be initially for a period of 03 years.

Selection Procedure for SAI Recruitment 2022:

(i) Through interviews including oral tests for discipline-specific knowledge. In case, the number of candidates is more than five times the vacancies, short-listing of candidates for interview shall be carried out on the basis of approved criteria. Hence, mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not entail the candidate is called for the interview.

(ii) The list of eligible shortlisted candidates for interview along with the date(s) and place of interview will be posted on the SAI website.

(iii) The Candidates should note that their candidature at all the stages shall be purely provisional, subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If on verification at any stage before or after the Interview, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions; their candidature shall be canceled by the SAI.
