Overview:

United Airlines is hiring an experienced Senior Analyst – Reliability at their Gurugram location. The Technical Operations Reliability team ensures United operates safely and dependably by analyzing aircraft defects and operational disruptions. The team monitors trends to notify maintenance and engineering teams of emerging issues and probable corrective actions.

The Senior Analyst will be incharge of data curation and creating and maintaining reliability datasets and dashboards. The role will help support the reliability engineering and tech services teams by providing accurate information and useful insights to help make better data-driven decisions. They will be ensure appropriate support systems are in place for identifying root causes of key aircraft issues through reporting and analysis. They will develop, test, and deliver scheduled and adhoc reports to meet business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:

Providing accurate and useful data on time to support reliability engineering functions. Establishing a shared repository of data and reports

Creating and managing fleet and reliability dashboards. Producing fleet and system level reports and tracking performance

Curating and presenting data in a meaningful manner in order to help drive informed engineering decisions

Conducting periodic data quality audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency

Supporting ongoing reliability/fleet initiatives and ad-hoc requests

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, analytics or related disciplines

At least 5 years of experience in any analytical field involving data

Superior attention to accuracy and detail

Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel

Familiarity with using database querying tools, such as SQL, and data visualization/ reporting tools

Ability to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume data

Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills

Strong communication skills

Ability to design and track meaningful operational metrics

Master’s degree

Strong knowledge of aircraft systems

Knowledge of aircraft fleet health and/or reliability programs

Programming in SLATE, Power BI, Palantir, or similar dashboarding software

R or Python-Statistical Programming

FAA A&P License/ DGCA issued equivalent preferred
