SAIL Recruitment 2022: Steel Authority of India has invited Applications from Experienced Medical Specialists duly meeting Eligibility in reference to the Contractual Engagement of Doctors as General Duty Medical Officers in the Alloys Steels Plant. There are 03 Vacancies for the Medical Specialists as General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO) in the Plant Medical Unit (PMU), Alloy Steels Plant on a Contractual Basis at & Alloy Steels Plant (ASP) notified vide SAIL Recruitment 2022.
Among the Candidates, those who meet the prescribed Eligibility Criteria for the Posts notified through SAIL Recruitment 2022 and intend to submit their respective candidacy/ies may apply via Mail indicated in the SAIL Recruitment 2022 Notification. The Last Date for the Intending Eligible Candidates to complete the Application Process is 10th January 2023.
The Walk-in Interviews shall be hosted on 13th January 2023 (13.01.2023) for the Eligible Candidates for Selection under the Contractual Engagement on the General Duty Medical Officer Posts. The Candidates should carry together all the Mandatory Documents for Verification at the time of the Interviews slated to be held on 13.01.2023.

Upper Age Limit
i) General Merit Candidates should not exceed 70 Years subject to the Candidate’s Physical and Psychological Fitness.
ii) Relaxation for Reserved Community Candidates as per SAIL Recruitment 2022
Educational Qualification: MBBS from the Medical Council of India/National Medical Council accredited University/Institute having Valid Medical Practitioner License.
Relevant Work Experience shall be given Due Preference. The Essential Qualification and Work Experience, if any, shall be taken into account as on the Date of Advertisement.
SAIL Selection Committee shall carry through the Selection in respect of Posts as explained hereunder:
Post-shortlisting of the Applications, only Eligible Candidates would be invited for attending the Walk-in-Interview slated to be held on 13th January 2023 (13.01.2023).
The Candidates, post-selection on to General Duty Medical Officer Posts shall be offered Post with Initial Tenure of 01 Year for Contractual Engagement from the Date of Joining, which may be further extended for a 01 Year at the discretion of the SAIL Board. However, the Overall Maximum Engagement Tenure under the Contract shall not exceed 03 (Three) Years.
