TN TRB Recruitment 2023: The Teacher Recruitment Board, Tamil Nadu (TN TRB) has released the annual recruitment planner for the year 2023 on its official website. The Tamil Nadu government announced a total of 15149 vacancies under this planner. Interested candidates who are seeking government jobs in the state can check the annual calendar at the official website.

The vacancies shall be filled for the post of Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT), Graduate Teacher, Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Post Graduate Assistant, and Block Educational Officer.

The Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2023 Paper – I & II notification and exam date have also been made public in the planner. The TN TET Notification 2023 will be released in December 2023, and the exam will take place in March 2024, per the annual planner.

In January 2023, a recruitment announcement for assistant professor positions at government arts and science colleges and colleges of education will be made public. There are nearly 4000 vacancies for the post. The exam will be tentatively held in April 2023. The notification for the post of block educational officer (BEO), for which there are about 23 vacancies, will be released in February 2023, and the exam will take place in May 2023.

The notification for the position of Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT), which will have nearly 6553 vacancies, will be published in March 2023, and the exam will be held in May 2023.

The recruitment announcement for the position of BT Assistants (graduate teachers) will be made public in April 2023, and the exam will take place in June 2023. The notification for the approximately 493 vacant posts as lecturers in government polytechnic colleges will be made public in May 2023. The exam will probably take place in August 2023.

In government engineering colleges, there are around 97 vacancies for the post of assistant professor. The notification for the same will be issued June 2023 and the exam will be conducted in September 2023.
