Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment 2023: The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) has called in Online Applications from the Scientists for Appointment on Scientist ‘G’ Post on Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract). As notified in the Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment 2023, there is 01 Vacancy to be filled up with Appointment of Eligible Candidates on Scientist ‘G’ Post on Deputation (ISTC) in the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), Government of India.

Appointment nature: Deputation (ISTC) for 03 Years Extendable up to 05 Years on Year-to-Year Basis.
As has been notified in the Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the Candidate subsequent to Selection shall be entitled to the Salary under Pay Scale 14.
Pay Scale: Level 14 (Rs.144200-218200) (Pre-Revised Rs.37400-67000 Plus GP Rs.10000
Recruitment Methodology: Deputation (Including Short-Term Contractual) Basis
Deputation Tenure: 03 Years, Extendable up to 05 Years
Based on the Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Maximum Age Limit for Appointment by Deputation shall not exceed 56 Years as on the Closing Date of receipt of Application.
Maximum Age Limit: Not to exceed 56 Years
Deputation (Including Short Term Contract):
A) Scientists or Technologists serving/working under the Central Government/State Governments/Universities/Accredited Research Institutions/ /Semi-Government/Statutory/Autonomous Organizations explained hereunder:
i: holding Analogous Post(s) on a Regular Basis; Or
ii: with 02 Years’ Regular Service in Post in the Pay Level-13A in the Pay Matrix in the Parent Cadre/Department; Or
iii) with 04 Years’ Regular Service in Post in the Grade rendered Post-Appointment thereto on Regular Basis in the Pay Leel-13 of Pay Matrix in the Parent Cadre/Department; and
B) Having in possession the Educational Qualifications and Experience
Essential Qualification: Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) in Natural/Agricultural Sciences Or Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology from any Accredited University/Equivalent.
Minimum Post-Qualification Experience: 15 Years in the Research and Development.
Post-Selection Eligible Officer Candidate’s Appointment on to the Scientist ‘G’ Post to be accorded shall be on Deputation under Pay Scale Level 14 as has been notified in the Ministry of Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment 2023 Notification.
The Deputation Tenure including Deputation Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in Similar or some other Organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 03 (Three) Years, which may extended further on Year to Year Basis subject to Maximum 05 Years with the Recommendation/Approval of the Competent Authority.
