DFCCIL Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Railways, Government of India, New Delhi, has called in Applications in respect of the Eligible Officers with Interest for Appointment to the Posts Joint General Manager/Deputy General Manager Operations and Business Development/(Ops & BD) on Deputation Basis in Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), Indian Railways at 08 Operation Control Centers (OCCs) located in different parts of the country.
As has been notified in the DFCCIL Recruitment 2023 Advertisement/Vacancy Circular, there are 08 Vacancies to be filled up with Appointment of the Eligible Officers on the Posts Jt. General Manager/Dy. General Manager On Deputation notified in the DFCCIL Recruitment 2023 Notification under the Parent Pay Plus Deputation Allowance notified therein.
Among the Deemed Eligible with Willingness for the Posts Deputy Joint General Manager/Deputy General Manager (Deputation) Posts, and are Willing to be Applicants may apply according to the Instructions in the prescribed Application Proforma in the DFCCIL Recruitment 2023 Advertisement issued for the purpose.
The Last Date for the Willing Eligible Officers for Application Submission is the 15th Date from issuance of the DFCCIL Recruitment 2023 Notification Dated 8th February 2023 (08.02.2023).

Vacancy: 08 Nos.
Appointment Term: Deputation Basis for 03 Years (Engagement Span for the Posts Initially will be 03 Years and subsequently Extendable up to 05 Years)
Posting Locations: Operation Control Center/Ahmedabad, Prithla, Vadodara/Mumbai and Operation Control Center/Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Nagar, New Tundla
Based on DFCCIL Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Officer shall be issued an Appointment on the notified Post Jt GM/Dy GM Project Manager (Ops and Business Development) with entitlement to the Pay Scale mentioned hereunder:
Pay Scale: Parent Pay plus Deputation Allowance (And all other Perks and Allowances applicable as per the DFCCIL Policy).
According to the DFCCIL Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, the Maximum Age Limit in respect of the Candidates is as follows:
The Officer should not exceed 55 Years, the Maximum Age as on the Closing Date of the Vacancy Notice)
Specific Requirements:
The Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS)/Officer of Traffic Department must have Working Experience in Operating and Commercial (Freight Business) in the Indian Railways.
Joint General Manager (Ops & BD) Post: The Officers under the Central Government/State Government
I) working in Analogous Substantive Grade (Level-13) in the relevant discipline/Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) (Level-12) with 08-12 Years’ Service in Group ‘A’ in the relevant Discipline; Or Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) Employees working in Analogous Grade in the Relevant Discipline; Or with 04-Years’ Service in the Grade of/in Rs. 80000-220000 (IDA) (E5).
Deputy General Manager (Ops & BD) Post: The Officers under the Central Government/State Government holding Senior Scale (Level 11) Posts or Central Government/State Government with 10 Years’ Service in Group ‘B’; And holding Cadre Posts in the Pay Level 10 in their Parent Cadre; Or Public Sector Undertaking Employees working in Analogous Grade in the Relevant Discipline; Or in Rs. 70000-200000 (IDA) (E4) with 04-Years’ Service in the Grade.
As has been explained in the DFCCIL Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, selection on to the Joint General Manager/Deputy General Manager (Ops and Business Development) Post shall be carried through by Viva-voce/Personal Interview. after selection, the Incumbent Officers, post-Selection would be issued Appointment on Deputation Basis.
The Deputation Tenure initially shall span 03-Years, which will be extended up to 05 Years [subject to Exemption by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) from the Rule of immediate Absorption].
