Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023: Prasar Bharati invites applications for the engagement of Part Time Correspondents (PTC) Idukki district on a contractual basis as per the Revised Scheme for the engagement of PTCs. According to the official notification of Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit required for the post is 24 years and the maximum age should be 45 years. As per the official notification of Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023, the qualification requires for the post is PG Diploma / Degree in Journalism / Mass Media or a Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of journalistic experience.
According to the official notification of Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023, the selection process will involve an interview of the Candidates on the basis of qualifications, professional experience, knowledge about district and state, current affairs, awareness of welfare schemes of the Central Government, acquaintance with Radio news, journalistic aptitude, writing skills, familiarization with communication technologies, etc. As per the official notification of Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023, the Applications in prescribed proforma along with self-attested copies of required documents and one recent photograph should reach the Head of Office, All India Radio, Vazhuthacaud P.O., Thiruvananthapuram — 695014 by 30th April 2023.

As per the official notification of Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023, the qualification requires for the post is mentioned below:-
1. The candidate should have a PG Diploma / Degree in Journalism / Mass Media or Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of journalistic experience.
2. Should reside at the respective district Headquarters or within a radius of 10 km. from the District Headquarters/ Municipal limit in the district for which he/ she is being engaged.
3. The candidate should have knowledge of computer and word processing.
4. The candidate should have Possession of news-gathering devices.
As per the official notification of Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023, the Monthly salary will be calculated as per NSE’s circular No. RNU / PTC Guidelines/ Modification/ 2022/ 1426, dated 22.12.2022, subject to the satisfactory rendering of service to be certified by the RNU Head. All India Radio, Thiruvananthapuram. The maximum limit of payment is Rs. 11,250/- per month including transportation and telephone charges.
As per the official notification of Prasar Bharati Recruitment 2023, the Engagement Procedure is given below
(a) Engagement of Part-Time Correspondents (PTCs) will be on a contractual retainer ship basis.
(b) The persons already in government service — Central/ State Government/ Administration of the Union Territory or in any Public Service Undertaking (PSU) and members of any Political Party will not be considered for engagement as PTC.
(c) The selection process will involve an interview. Candidates on the basis of qualifications, professional experience, knowledge about district and state, current affairs, awareness of welfare schemes of the Central Government, acquaintance with Radio news, journalistic aptitude, writing skills, familiarization with communication technologies, etc.
(d) On initial engagement of a Part-Time Correspondent, his/her work performance would be monitored for three months, and the contract will be renewed on a monthly basis. If his/her work is found to be satisfactory during this period, he/ she may be offered a yearly contract till the candidate attains the age of 60 years. The certificate for satisfactory performance should be issued by the RN U head.
