ICMR Recruitment 2023 for 05 Vacancies: Check Posts, Qualification, and How to Apply
ICMR Recruitment 2023: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the various posts including Biotechnologist – NRL, Consultant Microbiologist – NRL, Biomedical Engineer, and Senior Laboratory Technician under the project entitled “National Reference Laboratory (NRL)” a long-term project under National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP)” at the Institute. These positions are meant for temporary projects and are co-terminus with the project.
As per the ICMR Recruitment 2023 advertisement, interested candidates may appear for the interview as per the information given below. The interview will be held on 3rd March 2023 (Friday) at ICMR-National JALMA Institute for Leprosy and Other Mycobacterial Diseases, Dr. M. Miyazaki Marg, PO Box 101, Tajganj, Agra-282001, Uttar Pradesh, India. As per the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2023Applications will be received from the individuals by hand on the date of the walk-in interview between 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. No application will be entertained after 11:00 A.M.
According to the ICMR Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be given a monthly remuneration as mentioned below:
For Biotechnologist / Consultant Microbiologist / Biomedical Engineer:
The selected candidate will be placed at a monthly remuneration of Rs. 65,000 P.M. fixed without any other allowances at present.
For Senior Laboratory Technician:
The selected candidate will be placed at a monthly remuneration of Rs. 25,000 P.M. fixed without any other allowances at present.
Eligibility for ICMR Recruitment 2023:
According to the ICMR-NIMR Recruitment 2023 Notification, the candidate to be eligible should hold the following qualifications:
For Biotechnologist – NRL:
The eligible candidate should Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology and three years of work experience in TB Bacteriology/ Biotechnology /Molecular Biology
or
M.Sc. Biotechnology / Molecular Biology and five years of work experience in TB Bacteriology/ Biotechnology / Molecular Biology.
For Consultant Microbiologist – NRL:
The candidate should hold an M.D. Microbiology and Three years of work experience in Bacteriology
or
Ph.D. Medical Microbiology /Applied Microbiology / General Microbiology or related field and Three years of work experience in Bacteriology
or
M.Sc. Medical Microbiology /Applied Microbiology / General Microbiology and Five years of work experience in Bacteriology
For Biomedical Engineer:
The candidate should hold a B.E/ B. Tech in Biomedical Engineering and three years of work experience in a related field.
For Senior Laboratory Technician:
The candidate should hold an M.Sc. Medical Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology/ General Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with or without DMLT and three years of work experience in TB Bacteriology
or
B.Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Life Science with or without DMLT and five years of work experience in TB Bacteriology.
Tenure for ICMR Recruitment 2023:
The initial contract will be for a period of one year from the date of appointment and may be extended for another year based on the performance evaluation report and the need of the project.

The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), experience, Aadhaar Card, caste and PH certificates along with a set of photocopies of the same duly attested (can be self-attested) along with a recent passport-size photograph for attending the walk-in-interview.
