Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MHFW), Government of India has called in Applications from the Candidates Suitable for Deputation (ISTC) Appointment on the Posts 1) Scientist ‘C’, 2) Scientist ‘D’ and 3) Scientist ‘E’ in the Department of Health Research (DRH) notified in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Notification.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 06 Vacancies; i.e., 02 Posts each for 1) Scientist ‘C’, 2) Scientist ‘D’ and 3) Scientist ‘E’ Posts to be filled up on Deputation (Including Short-Term Contractual) Basis are encompassed under the I) Pay Matrix Level 11 (Rs.67700-208700), II) Pay Matrix Level 12 (Rs.78800-209200) and III) Pay Matrix Level 13 (Rs.123100-215900) respectively.

Based on the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Notification, Advance Copies of the Applications accompanying Essential Attested Copies duly attested by the Officer Not Below the Under-Secretary to the Government of India within 60 Days from issuance of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Notification (Office Memorandum) Dated 16th February 2023 in the Employment News.

Pay Scale Levels under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023:

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Notification following Pay Scale Levels shall remain Applicable to the Scientists C/D/E be as hereunder:

I) Scientist ‘C’: Pay Matrix Level 11 (Rs.67700-208700)

II) Scientist ‘D’: Pay Matrix Level 12 (Rs.78800-209200)

III) Scientist ‘E’: Pay Matrix Level 13 (Rs.123100-215900)

Maximum Age Limit under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023:

As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Maximum Age Limit applicable to the Applicant Officer shall be as follows:

Not to exceed 56 Years on the Closing Date of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Notification:.

Eligibility Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023:

01) Eligibility for Scientist ‘C’ Post:

A) The Officers under the Central Government/State Governments/Union Territory Administrations/Public Sector Undertakings/Accredited Universities/Accredited Research Institutions/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organizations

I) holding Analogous Posts on Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre of Department; Or

ii) With 05-Years’ Regular Service in the Pay Scale Level 10 in the Pay Matrix rendered Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre or Department; With

B) Educational Qualifications the Prescribed for Scientist ‘C’:

I) The Medical Council of India Accredited Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae Or Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)/Post Graduate Degree in the Subject mentioned therein; with

II) 04-Years’ Experience in Research and Development/Teaching/Working in the Public Sector Undertaking/Government Accredited Institutions.

02) Eligibility for Scientist ‘D’ Post:

A) The Officers under the Central Government/State Governments/Union Territory Administrations/Public Sector Undertakings/Accredited Universities/Accredited Research Institutions/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organizations

I) holding Analogous Posts on Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre of Department; Or

ii) With 05-Years’ Regular Service in the Pay Scale Level 11 in the Pay Matrix rendered Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre or Department; With

B) Educational Qualifications the Prescribed for Scientist ‘D’ Post:

I) The Medical Council of India Accredited Doctor of Medicine/Master of Surgery/Diplomate of National Board (DNB)/Equivalent with 05-Years’ Experience in Research and Development/Teaching/Working in the Public Sector Undertaking/Government Accredited Institutions.

II) The Medical Council of India Accredited Doctor of Medicine/Master of Surgery/Diplomate of National Board (DNB)/Equivalent with 05-Years’ Experience in Research and Development/Teaching/Working in the Public Sector Undertaking/Government Accredited Institutions.

II) The Medical Council of India Accredited Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae Or Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with 04-Years’ Experience in Research and Development/Teaching/Working in the Public Sector Undertaking/Government Accredited Institutions.

III) Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) from the Accredited University in the Subject notified in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Notification.

03) Eligibility for Scientist ‘E’ Post:

A) The Officers under the Central Government/State Governments/Union Territory Administrations/Public Sector Undertakings/Accredited Universities/Accredited Research Institutions/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organizations

I) holding Analogous Posts on Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre of Department; Or

ii) With 05-Years’ Regular Service in the Pay Scale Level 12 in the Pay Matrix rendered Appointment thereto on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre or Department; With

B) Educational Qualifications the Prescribed for Scientist ‘E’ Post:

I) The Medical Council of India Accredited Doctor of Medicine/Master of Surgery/Diplomate of National Board (DNB)/Equivalent with 05-Years’ Experience in Research and Development/Teaching/Working in the Public Sector Undertaking/Government Accredited Institutions.

II) The Medical Council of India Accredited Doctor of Medicine/Master of Surgery/Diplomate of National Board (DNB)/Equivalent with 05-Years’ Experience in Research and Development/Teaching/Working in the Public Sector Undertaking/Government Accredited Institutions.

II) Doctor Philosophiae (Ph.D) with 04-Years’ Experience in Research and Development/Teaching/Working in the Public Sector Undertaking/Government Accredited Institutions.

III) 07-Years’ Experience in Research and Development/Teaching/Working in the Public Sector Undertaking/Government Accredited Institutions notified in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023 Notification.

Selection Criteria Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023:

Selection on the Scientists ‘C’/Scientists ‘D’/ Scientists ‘E’ shall be by Deputation (Including Short-Term Contractual) Basis.

Deputation Tenure: The Deputation Tenure (Including Short-Term Contractual) including the Deputation (ISTC) Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in Similar/some other Organization/Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 04 (Four) Years.
