UPSC Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is hiring candidates for the position of Specialist Grade III (Tuberculosis). According to UPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the maximum age required for this post is not exceeding 40 years. There are only 03 vacancies for this post as per UPSC Recruitment 2023 notification.

As per UPSC Recruitment 2023 notification, selected candidates will be paid off with a monthly salary with Level-11 between (Rs.67700 – Rs. 208700) + NPA. Selected candidates will be on a probation period of One year. Interested candidates can apply and must submit their application online mode only before the last date. No other mode for submission of application will be accepted. As per UPSC Recruitment 2023 notification, there are total of 03 vacancies for the post of Specialist Grade III (Tuberculosis).

Qualification for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per UPSC Recruitment 2023 notification, the qualification required for Specialist Grade III (Tuberculosis) post is given below:

(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).

(ii) Post-graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned Speciality of Super-speciality mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule VI i.e., Doctor of Medicine (Tuberculosis) or Doctor of Medicine (Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases) or Diplomate National Board (Tuberculosis)/ (Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases) or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine) with Diploma in Tuberculosis Diseases Doctor of Medicine (Medicine) with Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases or Diplomate National Board (Medicine) with Diploma in Tuberculosis Diseases or Diplomate National Board (Medicine) with Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases or Doctor of Medicine (Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases) or Diplomate National Board (Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases) or Diploma in Tuberculosis Diseases or Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases.

Experience for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per UPSC Recruitment 2023 notification, experience details are given below:

Three years experience in the concerned Speciality or super-specialty after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree or 5 years experience after obtaining the Post-graduate Diploma.

1. Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.) or Magister Chirurgiae (M. Ch.) qualification of three years duration shall be counted towards the requirement of experience in the concerned broad specialty.

2. Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.) or Magister Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) of five years duration shall be taken as three years for completion of postgraduate degree and the last two years of the said Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.) or Magister Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) shall be counted towards the requirement of teaching experience.

3. The Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the U.P.S.C. for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
