BOB Recruitment 2023: The Bank of Baroda has recently announced that it will be hiring Financial Literacy Centre Counselors (FLCC) on a contract basis for Bhilwara District in Rajasthan. Candidates may apply for the position by submitting an offline application before April 10, 2023. The selection procedures have been revised, and the job role, qualifications, and remuneration for this personnel have been outlined. To be eligible, candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university, preferably in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work, and be fluent in the local language. Additionally, candidates must possess teaching and computer skills, as well as knowledge of banking, insurance, investment, pension, finance, communication, and team building. As per BOB recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidates must also meet the specified age limit that is Maximum age at the time of appointment on contract should not be more than 64 years subject to good health, and be a resident of the respective state, preferably from the same district. The contract period will not exceed one year and may be renewed based on performance.
As per BOB recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected FLCC counselors will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 18,000 per month, with an additional maximum of Rs. 5,000 towards conveyance expenses. The FLCC counselor will submit monthly visit diaries of financial literacy camps to the Lead Bank Manager or Branch Head of the base branch, who will then submit a monthly report to the Zonal Manager for verification before payment of monthly remuneration. Additionally, halting and traveling allowances will be provided, and the terms of the appointment will be based on a temporary contractual basis for a period of one year. Renewal of the contract will be possible based on satisfactory performance, subject to annual review, and at the bank’s sole discretion. The Bank has also provided guidelines for the termination of the contract.

As per BOB recruitment 2023 official notification, the Financial Literacy Centre Counselor (FLCC) at Bhilwara, Rajasthan will be offered a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 18,000 per month along with a maximum of Rs. 5,000 towards conveyance expenses on a reimbursement basis (total of Rs. 23,000). The reimbursement of conveyance expenses will be subject to the number of meetings /camps conducted per month, which will be Rs. 3,000 if less than 10 camps are conducted per month and Rs. 5,000 if more than 10 camps are conducted per month. To be eligible for HA (Halt Allowance), the camp conducted should be at least away from the FLCC center, and no vehicular facility has been availed from LDM/RO. The entire district will be the jurisdiction of the FLCC for conducting the camps/meetings, and LDM/RO/Base Branch can disallow any claim of HA with justifications.

The renewal of the contract may be extended by the Regional Office (RO) based on approval from the Zone Office (ZO) based on satisfactory performance.
