BMRCL Recruitment 2023: The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has recently released a notification inviting applications for Various Posts on a contract basis. As per BMRCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the recruitment is for a total of 68 posts, including Deputy Chief Engineer, Executive Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer, and Assistant Engineer. The last date for submission of online applications is 17/04/2023, and the last date for submission of signed print applications with supporting documents is 20/04/2023 by 04:00 PM.

As per BMRCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the tenure of contract appointment for the selected candidates will be for a period of three years. The candidates will be selected based on their qualifications and experience, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.   1. Deputy Chief Engineer (Systems Contract):
    • Minimum Educational Qualification: BE/ B. Tech in Electrical/Electronics & Communication/ Mechanical/ Civil Engg.
    • Experience Criteria:
      • Post qualification experience of a minimum of 15 years in tender and contract management of large value tenders with international agency funding in large infrastructure projects, out of this at least 8 years shall be in metro rail projects having experience in preparation of Tender documents, Tender evaluation, and arbitration.
      • Candidates with law qualifications will have added advantages.
      • Knowledge of Kannada is desirable.
  2. Deputy Chief Engineer (Signalling):
    • Minimum Educational Qualification: BE/ B. Tech/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/Computer Science Engg.
    • Experience Criteria:
      • Post qualification experience of a minimum of 15 years in case of Degree holders and 20 years in case of Diploma holders in Railway/Suburban Railway/Metro Railway or in any organization carrying out/implementing Railway/metro signaling projects and shall be involved from installation and commissioning of the project.
      • Should have experience in CBTC and interface with other subsystems along with Signalling works experience in Metro railway is preferred. Hands-on experience in the preparation of tender documents and technical specifications, inspection, testing, commissioning, etc.
      • Knowledge of Kannada is desirable.
  3. Deputy Chief Engineer (Telecommunication & AFC):
    • Minimum Educational Qualification: BE/ B. Tech in Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Communications/Computer Science/IT/IS/BSc. Electronics.
    • Experience Criteria:
      • Post-qualification experience of a minimum of 15 years out of which at least 8 years shall be in the telecommunications field. Candidates should have experience in site work supervision, testing, and commissioning of telecommunication equipment. Experience in tender and contract management, preparation of technical specifications, design review, tender preparation & evaluation is desired.
      • Candidates with work experience of the Metro Railway communication system shall be preferred.
      • Knowledge of Kannada is desirable.
  4. Executive Engineer (Rolling Stock):
    • Minimum Educational Qualification: BE/ B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Mechanical Engg.
    • Experience Criteria:
      • Post qualification experience of a minimum of 10 years in case of Degree holders and 15 years in case of Diploma holders out of which 5 years in Rolling Stock.
      • The candidate should have experience in handling large value procurement tenders of preferably rolling stock through an international bidding process.
      • Should have experience in Rolling stock design, preparation of technical specifications, design evaluation and review, and associated interface.
      • Candidates with experience in the procurement of Rolling Stock in Metro rail projects will be preferred.
      • Knowledge of Kannada is desirable.
  5. Executive Engineer/Manager (Signalling):
    • Minimum Educational Qualification: BE/ B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Communication Engg.
    • Experience Criteria:
      • Post qualification experience of a minimum of 10 years for Degree holders and 15 years for Diploma holders out of which at least 5 years shall be in Railway/Suburban railway/Metro railways or in an organization carrying out/implementing Railway/metro rail signaling projects and shall be involved from installation to commissioning stage of the project.
      • Should have experience in CBTC and interface with other subsystems along with Signalling works experience in Metro railway is preferred. Hands-on experience in the preparation of tender documents and technical specifications, inspection, testing, commissioning, etc.
      • Knowledge of Kannada is desirable.

As per BMRCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the consolidated remuneration and allowances for each post are:

Deputy Chief Engineer: The consolidated remuneration excluding allowances is Rs. 1,40,000/-. Eligible candidates will also receive medical and personal accident insurance coverage, CUG mobile facility, and other applicable allowances as per the company’s prevailing rules.

Executive Engineer: The consolidated remuneration excluding allowances is Rs. 85,000/-. No information is given about any other allowances.
