  1. The post name is Superintendent with one vacancy available, and the pay scale is PB-2: Rs. 9300-34800 + GP-4600 (Pay Level-7 in the scale Rs. 5000-150-8000 or equivalent in the same cadre or department).
  2. The post name is Assistant with two vacancies available, and the pay scale is PB-2: Rs. 9300-34800 + GP-4200 (Pay Level-6 in the scale Rs. 35400 or equivalent).
  3. The post name is Court Master with one vacancy available, and the pay scale is PB-1: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP-2800 (Pay Level-5 in the scale Rs. 29200 or equivalent).
  4. The post name is Upper Division Clerk with one vacancy available, and the pay scale is PB-1: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP-2400 (Pay Level-4 in the scale Rs. 25500-81100 or equivalent).

Eligibility for Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023:

As per Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility criteria for open vacancies are given below:

  1. For the post of Superintendent, The mode of eligibility is through deputation, and the officers under the central government holding an analogous post, or with three years of service in posts in the scale of Rs. 5500-175-9000 (pre-revised) in the same cadre or department or equivalent, or with eight years of service in posts in the Pay Level-7 in the scale of Rs. 44900 or equivalent in the same cadre or department, and possessing experience of administration, establishment, and account work can apply for this position.
  2. For the Post of Assistant,  the mode of eligibility is through deputation or absorption. The Assistant of the Central Secretariat Service/ Upper Division Clerks of the Central Secretariat Clerical Service/Upper Division Clerks of the Income Tax Department and various directorates under the Central Board of Direct Taxes with five years of regular service in the grade (period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years) can apply for this position.
  3. For the post of  Court Master, the mode of eligibility is through deputation. The Court Master of Tribunals or Commissions under the Central Government in the same grade or Upper Division Clerks of the Central Secretariat Service or Tribunal or commissions under the Central Government with five years of regular service in the grade can apply for this position.
  4. For the post of Upper Division Clerk, the mode of eligibility is through deputation or absorption. The Upper Division Clerk of the Central Secretariat Clerical Services or directorate under CBDT with eight years of regular service in the grade (period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years) or Lower Division Clerks of the Central Secretariat Clerical Services or directorate under CBDT with eight years of regular service in the grade can apply for this position.

How to Apply for As per Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023:

To apply for a position at the Appellate Tribunal SAFEMA, you must follow a specific application process. The first step is to obtain the application proforma, which can be downloaded from the Tribunal’s website.

Once you have the proforma, you must complete it in full and attach photocopies of your Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) from the past five years. These photocopies must be attested by an officer who is not below the rank of Under Secretary. You must also include an Integrity Certificate, a Vigilance Clearance Certificate, and a Major/Minor Penalty Statement for the past 10 years.

After you have gathered all of these documents, you must forward your completed application in the prescribed proforma to the Registrar of the Appellate Tribunal SAFEMA. As per Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023 official notification, the address for the Registrar is 4th Floor, ‘A’ Wing, Lok Nayak Bhawan, Khan Market, New Delhi. Your application must reach the Registrar’s office by 5 P.M. on May 15, 2023, at the latest.
