Ministry of  Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has sought Online Applications from the Candidates meeting Eligibility for the Post Junior Engineer (Civil) under the Ministry of Ministry of Labour and Employment vide the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.  The UPSC issued Ministry of Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Official Notification offers 58 Vacancies comprise 26 Slots earmarked for Un-Reserved Category/Open Market Candidate.

Based on the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, all Intending Eligible Candidates for Junior Engineer (Civil) Posts in the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation under the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement may complete the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) Process following the Instructions prescribed therein.  The Last Date, in accordance with the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued will terminate on 27th April 2023 (27.04.2023).    

According to the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement the ESIC Junior Engineer (Civil) Post shall be filled up under Level 06 (Rs. 35400-112400) of the Pay Matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

Upper Age Limits under Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023:

As per the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the following Category-wise and Reserved Community-specific Age Limits are prescribed:

1) The Un-Reserved Applicant should not exceed (Maximum) 30 Years as on the Closing Date 27.04.2023.

2) The Upper Age Limitation remains Relaxable for Regularly Appointed Central Government/Union Territory Government Servants up to 05 Years as per the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.

3) For Age Concessions applicable to some other Categories of Applicants, do refer to the relevant Paragraphs of the “Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection” of the UPSC issued Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria for the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023:

The Eligibility comprising the Educational Qualification(s) and Experience essential as per the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for the Applicants are as follows:

Essential Qualification(s): Willing Candidates with Eligibility should have a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering from any Duly Recognised University or Institute.

Note: The Qualifications and the Qualification in regard to Experience in case of Candidates otherwise well-qualified, are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission.

Selection Process for Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023:

Based on the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued, the Union Public Service Commission shall carry out the Recruitment Test Selection and Other Criteria also explained hereunder:

Recruitment Methodology:

In the event of the Applications received relatively in a large number from the Applicants, the Union Public Service Commission will adopt the Shortlisting Criteria to restrict the number to only Eligible Candidates to be called in for the Interview to a Reasonable Number by Any or More of the Methodologies as mentioned hereunder:

a) “Based on the Desirable Qualification (DQ) or any one or all of the Desirable Qualifications (DQs) if more than one Desirable Qualification is prescribed”.

b) On the basis of Higher Educational Qualifications than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Notification.

c) Based on Higher Experience in the relevant field than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

d) By reckoning the Prior Professional Work-Experience before or Post-acquiring Essential Qualifications of the Candidate Applicants.

e) By invoking the Prior Work Experience even in cases where there is No Experience mentioned Either as Essential Qualification (EQ) Or as Desirable Qualification (DQ).

f) By holding a Recruitment Test (RT).

Note-II: Minimum Qualifying/Pass Marks:

Viva-voce/Personality Test carries Total 100 Marks explained hereunder:

i) The Category-wise Minimum Level of Suitability in the Interviews (100 Marks), irrespective of whether the Selection is conducted only through Interview or by holding a Recruitment Test (RT) to be followed by the Interview, shall remain as hereunder:

a) Un-Reserved Minimum Qualifying 50 Marks to be secured out of Aggregate 100 Marks

b) Economically Weaker Sections 50 Marks

c) Other Backward Community: 45 Marks

d) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Caste/Persons with Benchmark Disability/ies (PwBD/s): 40 Marks.

ii) In cases where Selection is carried through by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the Personal Interview, the Candidate will have to attain the Minimum Level of Suitability in their respective Categories in the course of the Interview Stage.

Application Fee for Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023:

Following is the Category-wise Application Fee and Payment Gateway for remittance by the Applicants:

I) The General Category/EWS/OBC Candidates shall have to pay the Application Fee Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty-five only) only either by remitting the Money in any Branch of the State Bank of India in Cash or by using the Net-Banking Facility of the State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card Payment Gateway.

II) Reserved Community (SC/ST/PwBDs) and Women Candidates under any Community remain Exempted from payment of the Application Fee.

According to the Ministry of Labour and Employment Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Eligible Candidates with Desire, Online Recruitment Application is Mandatory

i) Eligible and Willing Candidates should visit the USPC ORA Website to complete the Online Recruitment Application Process.

ii) Carefully Read the Online Application/Registration Instructions available on the UPSC ORA Portal.

iii) Initiate the Online Application Process as per the Instructions on the Online Registration Application Portal.

iv) Upload Scanned Signature, Photograph for uploading with Online Recruitment Application.

v) Upload Self-attested Documents on the UPSC Online Registration of Application.

vi) Remit the Application Fee Online through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking, etc.
