Post Name and Vacancies for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of Income Tax Recruitment 2023, there are 05 vacancies open for the post of Superintendent, Assistant, Court Master and Upper Division Clerk.

• Superintendent- 01 Vacancy
• Assistant- 02 Vacancies
• Court Master- 01 Vacancy
• Upper Division Clerk- 01 Vacancy

Qualification for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of Income Tax Recruitment 2023, candidates must have the required qualifications and experience as mentioned below-

For Superintendent-

Candidates should be Officers under the Central Government-

•  (i) holding analogous posts or (ii) with 03 years of service in posts in the scale of Rs. 5500-175-9000 (pre-revised) in the same cadre or department or equivalent or (iii) with 08 years of service in posts in the scale of Rs. 5000-150-8000 or equivalent in the same cadre or department  and
• Possessing experience in administration, establishment and account work.

For Assistant-

• Assistant of the Central Secretariat Service/Assistant of the various Directorates under the Central Board of Direct Taxes.
• Upper Division Clerks of the Central Secretariat Clerical Service/Upper Division Clerks of the Income Tax Department and various Directorates under the Central Boards of Directs Taxes with 05 years of regular service in the grade (Period of Deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 03 years).

For Court Master-

• Court Master of Tribunals or Commissions under the Central Govt. in the same grade. Or
• Upper Division Clerks of the Central Secretariat Clerical Service or Tribunal or commissions under Central Govt. with five years of regular service in the grade.

For Upper Division Clerk-

• Upper Division Clerk of Central Secretariat Clerical Tax Department and various Service/Income Directorate of Central Board of Direct Taxes.
• Lower Division Clerks of the Central Secretariat Clerical Services/Directorate under CBDT with eight years of regular service in the grade.

Salary for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

Selected candidates will get a monthly salary as under below-

• The selected candidates for the post of Superintendent will get a monthly salary on a Pay Scale Level 7.
• The selected candidates for the post of Assistant will get a monthly salary on a Pay Scale Level 6.
• The selected candidates for the post of Court Master will get a monthly salary on a Pay Scale Level 5.
• The selected candidates for the post of Upper Division Clerk will get a monthly salary on a Pay Scale Level 4.

Tenure for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Income Tax Recruitment 2023, the appointment is made on a deputation/Absorption basis. The period of appointment is for 03 years but may be extended on the basis of performance and the requirements.

According to the official notification of Income Tax Recruitment 2023 notification, interested and eligible candidates can download the prescribed format from the official notification and send the same duly filled along with the supporting documents to The Registrar, Appellate Tribunal SAFEMA, 4th Floor, ‘A ’ wing, Lok Nayak Bhawan, Khan Market, New Delhi before the closing date.

The last date to submit the application form is 15.05.2023 by 05:00 PM. Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will be REJECTED summarily.
