National Disaster Management Authority(NDMA) is hiring applicants for the position of Senior Consultant, Consultant ((Mitigation Fund), and Consultant (India Mitigation Portal) on a contractual basis. There are 03 vacancies for the given post.

Age Limit for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

The maximum age limit for Senior Consultants is 50 years and for Consultant posts, the maximum age is 40 years.

Qualification for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for NDMA Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Senior Consultant

Master’s degree in Geology/Civil Engineering /Geo­technical engineering or Master’s Degree in Disaster management

Desirable Qualification:

Ph.DIM. Phil or specialization in geotechnical engineering/ glaciology/ landslide or GLOF risk mitigation or related subject

Consultant ((Mitigation Fund)

Master’s degree in Disaster Management, or any other disciplines related to disaster management (geography, geology, environment, structural/Geo-technical engineering, water resource management), or MBA.

Desirable Qualifications:

A research degree (M.Phil./Ph.D.) in disaster management or a related field

Consultant (India Mitigation Portal)

Master’s degree in Disaster Management, or any other disciplines related to disaster management (geography, geology, environment, structural/geotechnical engineering, water resource management), or MBA.

Desirable Qualifications:

A research degree (Ph.D./Post Doctoral) in disaster management or a related field.

Experience for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

The experience required for the post mentioned above is:

Senior Consultant

• Experience in landslide/avalanche/GLOF/LLOF/Glaciology related subjects
• Duration of research work (Ph.D./Post Doctoral) will be counted as work experience (actual duration or 5 years, whichever is less).
• Field experience in 1he project with substance use or disaster risk reduction and mitigation in report preparation will be given more weightage in the selection process
• Both the educational qualifications and work experience must prove the credentials of the applicant as an established expert in the field

Consultant ((Mitigation Fund)

• Experience in related subjects or handling projects in the disaster management or development sector
• Duration of research work (Ph.D./Post Doctoral) will be counted for work experience ( actual duration or 5 years, whichever is less)
• Field experience in the project with substantial use of disaster risk reduction and mitigation in report preparation will be given more weightage in the selection process
• Both the educational qualifications and work experience must prove the credentials of the applicant as an established expe11 in the field

Consultant (India Mitigation Portal)

• Experience in related subjects or handling projects in the disaster management or development sector

Salary for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

Candidates selected for the Senior Consultants post will get a monthly salary of Rs.125000 to Rs.175000 and for Consultant posts in Mitigation Fund, and India Mitigation Portal will get a monthly salary of Rs. 75000 to Rs.100000.
