Age Limit for Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for each scientist post should not exceed 56 years.

Eligibility for Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the Scientist C, D, and E posts must have the following qualification.

Scientist C

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree recognized by Medical Council of India or postgraduate degree in any of the subjects viz-Biochemistry or Chemistry or Anthropology or Sociology or Social Work or Food and Nutrition or Economics with specialization in Health Economics or Psychology or Biology or Bioscience or Entomology or Genetics or Medical Genetics or Immunology or Microbiology or Molecular biology or Pharmacology or Pharmacy or Toxicology or Virology or Zoology or Biotechnology or Botany or Bio-Informatics or Biostatistics;
• Four years experience in Research and Development or Teaching or working in the public sector or Government recognised institutions.

Scientist D

• Doctor of Medicine or Master of Surgery or Diplomate of National Board or equivalent degree recognized by Medical Council of India with 05 years of Research and Development or Teaching or working experience from the public sector or Government recognised institutions
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree recognised by Medical Council of India with Doctor of Philosophy and four years of Research and Development or Teaching Or working experience from the public sector or Government recognised institutions

Scientist E

• Doctor of Medicine or Master of Surgery or Diplomate of National Board or equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
• Doctor of Philosophy from a recognized University in any of the subjects viz- Biochemistry or Chemistry or Anthropology or Sociology or Social Work or Food and Nutrition Economics with specialization in Health Economics or Psychology Biology or Bioscience or Entomology or Genetics or Medical Genetics or Immunology or Microbiology or Molecular biology or Pharmacology or Pharmacy or Toxicology or Virology or Zoology or Biotechnology or Botany or Bio-Informatics or Biostatistics.
• Seven years of Research and Development or Teaching or working experience from the public sector or Government recognised institutions.

Salary for Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Recruitment 2023, candidates slected for the post of Scientist C will get a Pay Scale Level 11 in the pay matrix which will be between  Rs.67700 to Rs.208700,  for the post of Scientist D will get a Pay Scale Level 12 in the pay matrix which will be between  Rs.78800 to Rs.209200, and for the post of Scientist E will get a Pay Scale Level 11 in the pay matrix which will be between  Rs.123100 to Rs.215900.
