Northern Railway Recruitment 2023: The Northern Railway is inviting applications from eligible sports persons against Sports Quota through Open Advertisement Quota for the Year 2022-23 in Northern Railway. Education Required
Candidates should have graduated in any discipline from a recognized University. Candidates should have Passed the 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Education Qualification must be from a recognized Institution.
Sports Qualification
Candidates should be those sportspersons who have acquired the following sports achievement eligibility norms in the championship from 01/04/2020 to (date of notification) and are active and will be eligible to apply for appointment against the above posts under Sports Quota. For the validity of sports achievement, the concluding day of the championship/event shall be taken into account. The specific position played in the particular discipline, if applicable should be mentioned in the ONLINE Application without fail. All the championships mentioned above should have been conducted under the aegis of the recognized International/National/State Sports Federation and also recognized by Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB). Sports persons having sports norms for higher level and who have applied against the vacancies for the lower level can be considered for recruitment against the level applied for only. In such cases, the sportsperson has to give an undertaking that he/she will not claim for a higher level after joining Railways. The minimum norms for recruitment of Sports Quota shall be as under in addition to the qualifying performance/position.
