Overview:

Ericsson is hiring an experienced Support Engineer at their Pune location. You will provide technical service and support to our customers. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks. You will configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks.

What will you be doing:

Handle customer issues

Handle dedicated support

Handle Software Update Management (SUM)

Mentor Remote Service Gateway (RSG)

Qualifications for this Job:

Education: BE/B Tech or equivalent

Min years of experience:  4+ Years

Working in OSS/NMSdomain is must

Following nodes are considered to be part of OSS requirement:

ENM(Ericsson Network Manager) or similar Network Management technology (NMS/EMS).

Experience in a Virtual Environment is must. Should have good exposure on

OpenStack

Kubernetes& Containers

Database knowledge

Veritas cluster and volume manager

LinuxOperating System (RHCSA preferred)

An exceptional troubleshooting skill is required to solve the customer issues without escalating to the next level for competence units

Should able do tracing and complex logs analysis for OSS applications, RedHat Linux, Vmware and other related platforms

Strong technical acumen should be exhibited when dealing with complex customer issues.

Must have worked in a Support function

Past experience with Ericsson will be preferred

Other technical skills (good to have): Basic IP and Networking knowledge, Server and Storage hardware, Shell and Python Scripting
