Vacancy for Experienced Assistant Manager Inventory at Puma

Overview:

Puma is hiring an experienced Assistant Manager Inventory at their Bangalore location. You will drive Puma India sales by managing end-to-end inventory planning activities. Responsible for managing inventory in the system by giving visibility to Sales.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

Tracking channel-wise OTB and purchase orders

Preparing Inventory Reports for Sales and Finance

Tracking purchases of every channel with respect to the budget and target

Ensuring the right volumes of stock are ordered in every channel as per the timelines.

Develop templates to track local and imported purchase orders with respect totheir channel of sale, Order placement date, OTB, etc.

Responsible for giving stock visibility to multiple channels daily

Work with the merchandising teams to ensure deliveries are in line with the purchase orders raised

Tracking consumption of stock of every channel

Track fast moving styles and forecast demand.

Prepare a rolling monthly inventory forecast and ensuring the inventory is maintained as per budget. Track variance if any and suggest remedial measures.

Prepare FTS reports for the various channels on a weekly basis.

Develop sales plans for slow moving inventory.

Develop Sales plan to ensure product subcategories like Cricket, Socks, Winter merchandise, Value line, etc. are consumed to the fullest

Ensure old season inventory leftover is minimum

Secure orders against stock meant for liquidation at the best price possible.

Qualifications for this Job:

2-3 years experience in planning and operations.

Knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.

Exposure of vendor management and stakeholder management.

Should have a problem-solving approach

Good Verbal and written communication

Should have attention to details

Interpersonal ability

Team oriented.
