Overview:

Ola is hiring an experienced Assistant Manager-Motor (Drive Unit) at their Bangalore location. You will design and smooth integration of drive units with the electric subassembly in the powertrains at Ola.

What will you be doing:

Participate and manage of a state-of-the-art electric drive that puts Ola’s vehicle at par with its peers while ensuring a comfortable experience with smooth transmission and a long range.

Research, design, simulation and implementation of improvements in the EDUs.

Meet Engineering and Program milestones as applicable to achieve successful SOP (Start of Production).

Ideation, design and development of the drive systems and subsystems

Qualifications for this Job:

B.E/B.Tech in automobile, mechanical or related fields.

Minimum 3 years experience in a relevant engineering position

Design and development of electric traction motors for Low/Medium/High voltage for Electric Vehicle(EV) applications.

Hands on experience on Motor sizing , Permanent magnet selection and Electromagnetic design using state of art Emag tools like Maxwell 2D/3D & Altair Flux.

Hands on experience on different motor design such as IM , IPM, SynRM, Hub Motor Switched Reluctance motor etc.

Hands on experience in tolerances and stack up analysis.
