DRDO Recruitment 2023: The Defence Research & Development Organisation, famously known as DRDO, is inviting applications from motivated and meritorious candidates Indian citizens for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)/Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) discipline. As per the official notification for DRDO Recruitment 2023, the recruitment is being done for Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL), Hyderabad, at APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex of the DRDO. There are a total of 13 vacancies for the given post.
According to the official notification for DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of Rs. 31000. The upper age limit to apply for the available post is 28 years. The selected candidates will be initially engaged for 2 years which can be extended. The candidates will be selected based on the written test/interview. For Mechanical Engineering (ME) discipline: There are 08 vacancies available
For Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)/Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) discipline: There are 05 vacancies available
According to the official notification for DRDO Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit to apply for the available post is 28 years. The upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to SC/ST by 5 years and for OBC by 3 years as per Govt. rules.
In accordance with the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidates applying for the JRF post should have the following qualifications as per the relevant discipline:
Mechanical Engineering (ME): Candidates should have a first-class B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (approved by AICTE/UGC) with a valid GATE Score or a first-class B.E / B.Tech and a first-class ME / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (approved by AICTE/UGC).
Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)/ Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE): Candidates should hold a first-class B.E/B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering (approved by AICTE/UGC) with a valid GATE Score or a first-class B.E / B.Tech and a first-class ME / M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electronic and Communication Engineering (approved by AICTE/UGC).
According to the official notification for DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of Rs. 31000. The selected candidates will be also provided with Residential Accommodation or an HRA (In case of non-availability of accommodation).
As given in the official notification for DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be initially engaged for 2 years which can be extended. On extension, the JRF post will be upgraded to Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for one year (3rd Year). SRF may again be extended for a period of one more year (4th Year) based on performance.
In accordance with the official notification for DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will work for Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL), Hyderabad, at APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex of the DRDO.
As per the DRDO Recruitment 2023 official notification, T=the candidates will be selected based on the written test/interview. If a written test is conducted, only those candidates who score enough marks will be contacted for an interview.
