SBI Recruitment 2023: State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting online applications for the position of Case Manager in the AML/CFT Cell, which will be filled by former SBI officers on a contract basis. As per the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the number of vacancies available for the above post is 04, where for the General category number of vacancies is 02, for the Other Backward Caste category number of vacancy avail is 01, and for the Scheduled Caste category number of vacancy is 01.

As given in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, applicant selection will be based on shortlisting and Interviews. As mentioned in the Official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the candidate will be recruited for a tenure period of a minimum of 1 year. However, the Bank reserves the ability to extend the contract period for a maximum of three years or until the retired officer reaches the age of 65, whichever occurs first. According to the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the selected applicant will get a monthly remuneration of Rs.40000.In accordance with the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for the above post should be 63 years as of 26.06.2023. Roles and Responsibility for SBI Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the role and responsibilities are given below.

The former officers will be used for general tasks like submitting STRs, alert scrutiny, and transaction monitoring. They won’t have any access to post transactions or pass them along to CBS.

The case managers’ KRAs are as follows:

  • Accurate and comprehensive STRs were generated after effective analysis, reporting, and creation.
  • Effective feedback gathering, sensitization, and communication to support and strengthen AML-CFT functions in the Bank.
  • Effective management, reporting, and monitoring of issues relating to compliance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct and discipline at the AML/CFT Cell and with other operating units.
  • Timely completion of all tasks that have been assigned, including those for the Support to the team, AML/CFT duties, and any other jobs that may occasionally be given by the Competent Authority.
  • According to the performance matrix, the case manager must escalate at least 15 subjective and 35 alert-based STRs in a month, either individually or collectively. This will be the bare minimum and may be increased if necessary.
  • To confirm the STR that the Case Manager and Supervisors raised.

Experience for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, preference would be given to ex-officers who have experience in operational assignments or audit/compliance-related sectors, among other things, during their time with the bank.

Remuneration for SBI Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the selected applicant will get a monthly remuneration of Rs.40000.

Place of Posting for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the selected applicant will be posted to either Jaipur or Hyderabad.

Working Hours for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the retired officers will work the same hours as the serving officials or as the AML/CFT Cell requires, subject to completion of the prescribed task(s).

Selection Procedure for SBI Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on shortlisting and interviews.

Shortlisting: Mere fulfilling minimum qualifications and experience will not vest any right in the candidate for being called for an interview. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted (subject to availability) and called for interview.

Interview: The interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

Merit List: The merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the interview only, subject to the candidate scoring minimum qualifying marks. In case more than one candidate scores the cutoff marks (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order.
