NUJS Recruitment 2023: National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Professor in Forensic Science, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Faculty Cum System Analyst, Academic Fellow, Research Fellow, Adjunct Faculty and Guest Faculty on a contract basis. As per the NUJS Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates for the post of Professor in Forensic Science, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor will be appointed for a tenure of 05 years and the candidates selected for the post of Faculty Cum System Analyst, Academic Fellow, Research Fellow, Adjunct Faculty and Guest Faculty will be appointed for a tenure of 01 year. There are 24 vacancies.
As per the NUJS Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will get a monthly salary up to Rs. 144200. Candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post have to pay Rs. 2000 as an application fee. Candidates from the SC/ST category must pay only Rs. 500 as an application fee. Mention below is the qualification required for NUJS Recruitment 2023:
Professor in Forensic Science
Candidates should have an eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix 1 OR A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at equivalent level at the University National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate. OR An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree the relevant /applied UPC from any academic institutions (not included above) / industry, who has made a significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years of experience.
Associate Professor
Candidates should have a good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in Law or M.Tech. (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed). A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching/ or researching an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications as research papers in journals ranked by Scopus / Web of Science / UGC-CARE list/ Referred Journal and a total research score of Seventy-five (75) as per the criteria given in Annexure -1. University will also consider quality research publications.
Faculty Cum System Analyst
Candidates should have a Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Computer Application/ Engineering/Computer Science of a recognized University or equivalent.
Research Fellow
Candidates should have an LL.M. with 55% marks or M.Sc. Lay Degree with 55% marks in Forensic Sci Science or allied subjects.
Guest Faculty
Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Law 55% with Law minimum of 03 yrs of teaching experience Scie OR M.Sc in Forensic Science or Allied Areas like Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Computer Science and Computer Application.
