Pay Matrix: Level 11 (Rs.67700-208700) (Pre-revised Pay Band 3 (Rs.15600-39100 Plus Grade Pay of Rs.6600)

The Pay and other Terms and Conditions of Deputation of the Officer(s) selected, will be regulated in accordance with the Provisions contained in the DoPT (Department of Personnel & Training) Office Memorandum Number 06/08/2009-Establishment (Pay-II) Dated 17.06.2010, and Office Memorandum No. 02/11/2017-Establishment (Pay-II)Dated 24.11.2017 and 15.03.2021 as amended from to time.

Maximum Age Limit for Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Recruitment 2023:

Age Limit: Should not be exceeding 56 Years for Appointment on Deputation (ISTC).

Eligibility for Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Recruitment 2023:

Eligibility Conditions: 

Specific Requirement: Suitable Officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) or Central Service Group ‘A’,  with the following Qualifications:

Essential:

i) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline of any Duly Recognized University or Equivalent.

ii) Sound Knowledge of Hindi and one more Indian Regional Dialect/Language (according to the requirements of the Post-in this case Assamese);

iii) Sound knowledge of Indian History and Culture.

iv) 07 Years’ Administrative or Managerial Experience in any Responsible Capacity

Note: The Deputation Tenure shall ordinarily not exceed 03 Years)

Selection Criteria under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Recruitment 2023:

As may be referred to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Recruitment 2023 Official Memo Selection for Deputationist Appointment on the Additional Regional Officer Post shall be carried out by a Deputation Basis for 03 Years’ Duration.

 The Period of Deputation Including the Deputation Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the same or some other Organization/Department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed 03 Years for the Additional Regional Officer notified thereby.

The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Recruitment 2023 Official Notification mandates Eligible Offices to submit their respective Applications duly completed in the Prescribed Format annexed by the Documents mentioned hereunder within 30 Days from issuance of the MIB Recruitment 2023 Circular in the Employment News:

Duly completed Applications in respect of Suitable and Willing Officers having Convincingly fulfilled the Requisite Qualifications and Experience for the above Notified Post(s), may be forwarded in the Enclosed Format accompanying their respective up-to Date Confidential Report Dossiers (Last 05 Years) and Vigilance Clearance Certificates.

The Cadre Controlling Authority should forward duly completed Applications of the Eligible and Interested Offices with the Prescribed Mandatory Enclosures.

Note: The Officers who volunteer for the Post will not be allowed to withdraw their Candidature subsequently.

The Administrative Officer may forward duly completed Applications to this Ministry of Information & Broadcasting with the following:

i) Up-to-date APAR Dossier of the Last Five Years. All Photostat of APARs may be forwarded duly attested by an Officer Not Below the Rank of Under
Secretary or Equivalent

ii) Vigilance Clearance (VC)

iii) Statement indicating whether any Minor/Major Penalty was imposed or not during the last 10 Years
