Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023: Indian Coast Guard is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Store Keeper Grade- II, Engine Driver, CMTD, Fork Lift Operator, Sheet Metal Worker, Carpenter, Unskilled Labourer and Motor Transport Fitter. As per the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 10 vacancies. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on pay scale levels 1, 2 and 4.
As per the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the post of Store Keeper Grade- II should be below the age of 25 years. Candidates applying for the post of Engine Driver should be below the age 30 years and the candidates applying for all other posts should be below the age of 27 years. Candidates will be selected through a written test. All Applications received from the candidates will be scrutinized subject to the eligibility criteria and necessary documents. The admit cards will be issued to the shortlisted candidates for document verification and appearing in the written examination. Shortlisted candidates will go under for document verification before the written exam. Mention below is the qualification and experience required for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:
Store Keeper Grade- II
Candidates should have 12th pass from a recognised university or board. Candidates should have 01 year of experience handling stores from any recognised firm, central or state government organization, or public sector undertakings.
Engine Driver
Candidates should have a 10th pass certificate. Candidates should have a certificate of competency as an engine Driver from a recognised government institute or equivalent. Candidates should have 02 years of service as Sarang on a vessel of over four hundred boat horsepower.
CMTD
Candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post should have passed the 10th standard. Candidates must have valid driving licenses for both heavy and light motor vehicles. Candidates should have at least 02 years of experience in driving motor vehicles and candidates should have knowledge of motor mechanisms.
Fork Lift operator
Candidates applying for this job post should have a certificate in the respective trade from ITI or other recognised institutions with not less than 01 year of experience in the trade OR 3 years of experience in the trade for which no training is available in ITI or other recognised institutions. Candidates should have a heavy-duty vehicle driving licence.
Sheet Metal Worker and Carpenter
Candidates applying for this job post should have passed 10th or its equivalent. Candidates should have successfully completed an apprenticeship from a recognised/reputed workshop in the relevant trade under Apprentice Act 1961 or under any recognised Apprenticeship scheme OR candidates should have completed training in the relevant trade from an ITI recognised for this purpose and have 01 year of trade experience OR 4 years experience in the trade for which no training is available in the ITI or other recognised institutions. Candidates should have a trade entrance examination.
Unskilled Labourer
Candidates applying for this job post must have a matriculation pass or its equivalent from a recognised board or ITI-recognised institution. Candidates should have 3 years of experience in this trade.
Motor Transport Fitter
Candidates applying for this job post should have a Matriculation or equivalent degree. Candidates should have 02 years of experience in an automobile workshop.
