SCI Recruitment 2023: Maritime Training Institute (MTI), Powai is a training institute of the Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. (SCI), is recruiting applicants for the post of Nautical Faculty, Engineering Faculty, Radio Officer/Faculty, Naval Architect, and Academic Faculty on a Full Time Contract basis and Visiting basis. As per the official notification of SCI Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for the post of visiting faculty should not be more than 72 years and for the post of full-time contract faculty should not be more than 70 years. As given in the official notification of SCI Recruitment 2023, applicants will be posted at MTI Powai. According to the official notification of SCI Recruitment 2023, the candidate will be appointed on a full-time contract basis and Visiting basis till 31.12.2023 which will be extendable by One year.
According to the official notification of SCI Recruitment 2023, the applicant should have 01 year to 07 years of working experience in the relevant field. As mentioned in the Official notification of SCI Recruitment 2023, the remuneration for full-time contract faculty will be Rs.135000 per month, whereas Honorarium paid to visiting faculty will be Rs.1200 per hour. Candidate should have teaching experience of 3 years or more as a Lecturer or Professor in the respective subject.
As given in the official notification of SCI Recruitment 2023, applicants will be posted at MTI Powai.
As per the official notification of SCI Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for the post of visiting faculty should not be more than 72 years and for the post of full-time contract faculty should not be more than 70 years. Preference will be given to applicants for faculties below 65 years of age, and with teaching experience in similar maritime training institutes.
As mentioned in the Official notification of SCI Recruitment 2023, the remuneration for full-time contract faculty will be Rs.135000 per month, whereas Honorarium paid to visiting faculty will be Rs.1200 per hour and conveyance of Rs. 500 per day to Master Mariners / Chief Engineers for all courses. For faculty other than Master Mariner / Chief Engineer, the honorarium will be paid at Rs. 900 per hour and conveyance of Rs.500 per day.
In accordance with the official notification of SCI Recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of interview only, where shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interviews (physical) and the time and date of the interview will be intimated only to the shortlisted candidates through email.
In accordance with the official notification of SCI Recruitment 2023, the scope of work at SCI-MTI will comprise academic and non-academic activities (including course creation). If selected, reporting and other details will be elaborately written out in the Empanelment Letter / Offer Letter.
