ICFRE Recruitment 2023: Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), Dehradun, under the Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), is seeking qualified candidates for the engagement of Senior Sector Experts/Senior Consultants on a contractual basis. According to the ICFRE Recruitment 2023 official notification, the shortlisted candidates will be offered monthly remuneration of Rs. 1,25,000 per month. Candidates will be appointed for three (3) vacancies initially for a period of one year. The maximum age limit of interested candidates will be determined based on the selection criteria. Senior Sector Experts/Senior Consultants engaged in this posting will not be eligible for any benefits or perks available to ICFRE regular employees.

The candidates should have a Master’s degree in Agriculture/Forestry/Environmental Science/ Environment Management/ Ecology/ Natural Resource Management/Climate Change from a recognized university with 10 years of experience working with government and non-government organizations in India.
For Senior Sector Experts/Senior Consultants for Water Conservation based Green Credit
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Agriculture/Forestry/Soil Science / Environment Management/ Environmental Economics with sectoral experience in Natural Resource Management/ Climate Change from a recognized university. He/she should have 10 years of experience working with government and non-government organizations.
For Senior Sector Experts/Senior Consultants for Green Credit Registry, Verifiers, and Auditors
Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Finance or M.Sc. or M.A. in Economics/ Environment Management/ Natural Resource Management/Computer Science/Climate Change or equivalent from a recognized university. He/she should have 10 years of experience working with government and non-government organizations in the field of developing Carbon Credit Registry/ Verifiers/ Auditors.
