Eligibility for SAI Recruitment 2023:

The Eligibility comprising Desired Qualification, Essential Experience and Desired Experience in accordance with the SAI Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement is explained hereunder:

Essential Qualification:

i) 02 Years’ Master’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma (02 Years) Or Master’s Degree (01 Year) from any Foreign University in the Relevant Subject Or any Subject of Similar/Equivalent nature Or;

ii) Master’s Degree in any Discipline/B.Engg./B.Tech with Diploma/Certificate Course in the Relevant Subject or any Subject of Similar/Equivalent nature

Desirable Qualification:

Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) or Master’s Degree in Relevant Field  from Any Duly Recognised University

Excellent Knowledge of Office Software like MS Office, Research Tools, Database Management, Application Software, etc.

Understanding of Results and Competition Formats in the Olympic Sports

Essential Experience: Minimum 05 Years’ Experience in any Relevant Field.  The Experience will be counted only if the same has been acquired after completion of Essential Qualification.

Desirable Experience: 

• Experience in any Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous/Public Sector Undertaking/Private Sector is also considerable.
• Candidates, who have participated at the National and International Levels in the Olympic Sports Disciplines would be given Preference.
• Applicant with Research Experience, published Papers, and Post-Qualification Experience in the relevant field would be preferred.

Selection Criteria under SAI Recruitment 2023:

The Selection Procedure for the Head (Research, Policy & Learning) termed “Consultant” Post shall be carried out based on the Evaluation Criteria with Total 100 Marks with the Weightage Marks allocated as follows:

The Shortlisted Candidates will be called for the Interview and assessed as follows:

Selection for Head shall be carried through by the Interview for 100 Marks.

Evaluation Criteria:  The Evaluation Criteria with 100 Marks shall be exercised as follows:

i) Weightage for Marks Obtained in Essential Qualification: Maximum 40 Marks

ii) Weightage for Work Experience: Maximum 30 Marks

iii) Weightage for Work Experience in Government Sector: Maximum 20 Marks

iv) Sports Participation at national and International Level in Olympic Discipline: Maximum 05 Marks

v) Publication/Sport Science Experience: Maximum 05 Marks

Weightage Parameter:

Post-Selection as Head (Research, Policy & Learning) for offering/providing Consultancy on a Contractual Basis. Engagement shall initially be for 02 Years, further Extendable on Yearly Basis up to Maximum 05 (02+01+01+01) Years for SAI New Delhi.
