According to the official notification of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Recruitment 2023, the required eligibility criteria are given below-

For Deputy Director-

• From amongst Officers of the Central Government/State Government holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department. OR
• With five years of regular service in posts in Level – 9 in the pay matrix (Rs. 53100-167800/-) or equivalent.
• Officers with six years of regular service in the level of Level 8 of 7th CPC).

For Administrative Officer-

• Officer of the Central Government or State Government-
• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department. OR
• With two years of regular service in the posts in Level 8 in the pay matrix of Rs.47600-151100. OR
• With three years of regular service in the post in Level 7 in the pay matrix in Rs. 44900 – 142400.

For Assistant Section Officer-

• Officers of the Central Government or State Government –
• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis. OR
• Senior Secretarial Assistant in level 4 in the pay matrix (Rs. 25,500-81,100) with ten years of regular service in the grade.

For Personal Assistant-

• Officers of the Central Government or State Government –
• Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department. OR
• Stenographer or equivalent in level-4 in the pay matrix (Rs. 25,500-81,100) with ten years of regular service in the grade or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.

For Senior Secretarial Assistant-

• From amongst those Holding analogous posts in a regular basis in other Ministries or Departments of the Government of India or Autonomous Bodies or Public Sector Undertaking. OR
• Junior Secretarial Assistant in Level-2 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 19,900-63,200/-) with eight years of regular service having experience in the field of Personnel or Establishment or Accounts matters.

Tenure for Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Recruitment 2023, the appointment is made on a contract basis and the selected candidates will be appointed for a period of 02 years but may be extended based on the vacancy position and performance of the official.
