ICFRE Recruitment 2023: The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) invites applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of Consultant Position on a contract basis. According to the ICFRE Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates will be employed for 4 available vacancies (one each for the states of Uttarakhand, Delhi & NCR, Gujarat and Maharashtra). The contract will be offered to someone who has at least 15 years of research experience in the relevant subject. The hiring will be made for an assigned project titled “Development of Capacities, Knowledge, and Communication Mechanisms for Forest Landscape Restoration.” The appointed consultant’s monthly aggregate salary will be Rs. 80,000/-, with TDS deducted in compliance with Income Tax Norms.
According to the ICFRE Recruitment 2023 official notification, the maximum age limit for qualified candidates is 65 years old as of the final date of application submission. This assignment comprises a 5-year contract or until the project is finished, whichever comes first. The consultant’s performance, on the other hand, will be assessed on an annual basis. The candidate must have a Master’s degree in Environmental Science/Environmental Management/Natural Resource Management/Botany/Soil and Water Conservation/Land Management/Climate Change/Soil Science or a related field. Candidates who are interested and qualified should apply through the authorised channels.
