Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), Hyderabad, one of the Premier Research Laboratories of the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) engaged in Research and Development of Missile Systems for the Indian Armed Forces. DRDL under DRDO is inviting young and meritorious Indian Nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering and Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering discipline. There are 07 Vacancies for this recruitment drive.

Stipend for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected applicant will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs.37000 plus HRA as per DRDO Rules.

Qualification for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the DRDO Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualifications.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering

• B.Tech./B.E with First Class in Electrical & Electronics Engg. / Electronics & Communication Engg. from UGC recognized University with a GATE valid score (Paper code: EE/EC)
  (or)
• M.E/M.Tech with First-Class in Electrical & Electronics Engg. / Electronics & Communication Engg. from UGC recognized University and B.Tech/B.E (EEE/ECE) with First Class from UGC recognized University.

Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering

• B.Tech./B.E with First Class in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engg. from UGC-recognized University with a GATE valid score (Paper code: AE)

• M.E/M. Tech with First-Class in Aeronautical/ Aerospace Engg. from UGC recognized University and B.Tech/B.E (Aeronautical/ Aerospace Engg.) with First Class from UGC recognized University.

Tenure for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the applicant will be appointed for a tenure period of 02 years which may be extendable for a further 02 years subject to Internal Screening Committee recommendations.

Age Limit for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit for the above mentioned post is 28 years as of 04.10.2023. The upper age limit relaxable to the candidates belonging to SC/ST is 5 years and OBC is 3 years.

Selection Procedure for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, candidates will be shortlisted based on their valid GATE score and percentage of marks obtained in their minimum qualifying degree at the time of the interview
