• The candidates should have 2 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto regularly in level 13 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.

For Additional Industrial Adviser (Engineering)-

The officers under the Central/State Government/Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous-

• The candidates should hold analogous posts regularly in the parent cadre/department.
• The candidates should have five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto regularly in level 12 in the pay matrix.

For Industrial Adviser (Chemical)-

The officers under the Central/State Government/Union Territory Administration/Public Sector Undertakings/ Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/Semi-Government or Autonomous Bodies or Statutory organisations-

• The candidates should hold analogous posts regularly in the parent cadre/department.
• The candidates should have 2 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto regularly in posts in level 13 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department.
• The candidates should with 6 years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto regularly in posts in level 12 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and possessing the following educational qualifications and experience.

For Industrial Adviser (Chemical)-

For Additional Industrial Adviser (Engineering)-

• The candidates must have a Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Industrial Engineering from a recognised University/ Institute.
• The applicant must have 15 years of practical experience in the field of Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Industrial Engineering in any Industrial Undertaking dealing with Planning/ Development/ Production/ Research Techniques of the Engineering Industry.

For Industrial Adviser (Chemical)-

• The candidates should have a degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Industrial Engineering from a recognised University or Institute.

For Industrial Adviser (Chemical)-

• The candidates should have a master’s degree in Chemistry from a recognized University/ Institute.
• The applicants must have a degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Salary for Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023:

For Industrial Adviser (Engineering) and Industrial Adviser (Chemical)-

• The shortlisted candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.131100 to Rs.216600 in Level-13.

For Additional Industrial Adviser (Engineering)-

• The shortlisted candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 118500 to Rs.214100 in Level-13.

Tenure for Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023:

As informed in the official notification for the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023, the initial tenure of engagement for a period of deputation(including short-term contract) including a period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organisation or Department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed 05 years.

Place of Posting for Ministry of Commerce and Industry Recruitment 2023:
