For Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operator) (S-3):

• The candidate should have completed Matriculation with 03 three-year (full-time) diploma in the mechanical, electrical, plant, production, or instrumentation engineering discipline from a government-recognized institute.
• The candidate should have a First Class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency.

For Operator-cum-Technician (Electrical Supervisor) (S-3):

• The candidate should have a Matriculation with 03 three-year (full-time) Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a government-recognized institute.
• The candidate should have a valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) of Competency to work in mines. (The Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency should cover mining installation and be issued under sub-regulation (1) of Regulation 29 of the Central Electricity Authority (measures relating to safety and electric supply) Regulations, 2010).
• The candidate should have a minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience in carrying out repairs, overhauls, and maintenance of HT/LT systems and installations, HT/LT machinery, equipment, and gadgets inside and outside plants and buildings, including overhead and underground transmission lines, cables, transformers, circuit breakers, panels, switchboards, and their accessories, and allied equipment.

For Attendant-cum Technician (Trainee):

• The candidate should have done Matriculation with ITI (full time) in the relevant trade of Electrician, Fitter, Electronics, Machinist, Diesel Mechanic, Computer Operator, Programme Assistant (CoPA), / Information Technology (IT) from a government-recognized institute.

Age Limit for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

For Operator-cumTechnician (Boiler Operator) (S-3):

• The age of the candidates for this post should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 30 years.

For Operator-cumTechnician (Electrical Supervisor) (S-3) and Attendant-cumTechnician (Trainee):

• The age of the candidates for this post should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 28 years.

Salary for SAIL Recruitment 2023:
