Based on the official notification of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2023, the eligible applicants are invited to apply for the position of Lecturer (Ras-Shatra and Bhaishajya Kalpana), Class-I (Gazetted) (on a contract basis) in the Ayush Vibhag, H.P. There is only 01 seat available for the aforementioned position.

Essential Qualification-

• The candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University or Council of Indian System of Medicine established by law or from an Ayurvedic College recognized by the Government.
• The candidates should have post Graduate Degree in a particular branch of speciality from any recognized University established by law or a degree recognized by CCIM or H.P. Government; and
• The candidates must have studied Sanskrit as one of the subjects in the course of a Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurveda.

Desirable Qualification-

• The candidates must have knowledge of the customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Age Limitation for Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s age limit is given below:

• The minimum age limit of the candidates should be 18 years.
• The maximum age limit of the candidates should be 45 years.

Salary for Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be paid a monthly salary upto Rs.34800.

• The chosen candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.10300 to Rs.34800 with (GP 5000).

In accordance with the official notification of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2023, the applicants have to pay upto Rs.400 as an application fee. The application fee will be paid online through debit/credit card/UPI/any other online digital mode. Examination Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Mode of Selection for Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Recruitment 2023, the applicant’s selection will be based on a Screening/Preliminary Exam and personality test. The details are given below-

For Paper- I-

A 01 hour computer-based or offline screening test consisting of 50 questions worth 100 points as follows-

• General knowledge of Himachal Pradesh = 30 Marks
• General knowledge of National and International Affairs= 30 Marks
• Knowledge of the Hindi language = 20 Marks  
• Knowledge of the English language = 20 Marks

For Paper-II-

A Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) (objective type) of 03 hours duration and 120 points, as determined by the Commission from time to time.
