UPSC Recruitment 2023:The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is accepting applications from qualified candidates for the positions of Scientific Officer (Electrical), Technical Officer and Senior Lecturer (Obstetrics and Gynaecology). Based on the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the upper age limit should be up to 50 years. There are 05 seats available for the stated positions. The candidate will be working in Kolkata, New Delhi and Chandigarh. The applicant must hold a Master’s Degree in Computer Application or Information Technology or Computer Science from a recognised university.
As indicated in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the chosen applicant will be paid a salary up to Level 11 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC plus NPA. The applicant must pay an application fee of Rs. 25 for Gen/OBC/EWS and no fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates. Essential Qualification and Experience for UPSC Recruitment 2023:
As indicated in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the required qualification and experience for the mentioned posts is stated below:
For Scientific Officer (Electrical)-
The candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Physics or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized University or Institute
Experience–
The candidate should have 01 year’s experience in advanced electrical or electronics measurements in a Laboratory or one year’s experience in the field of testing and development of Electrical Stores like motors or switchgears or Lamp and Photometry or Batteries or Cables or Electrical
Accessories etc. Experience in calibration of Electrical measuring instruments and equipments as per Indian Standard or International Standardisation Organization or International Electro technical Commission Norms.
For Technical Officer-
The candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Computer Application or Information Technology or Computer Science from a recognized University or institution OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute.
For Senior Lecturer (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)-
A basic University or equivalent qualification is included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956 and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register.
The candidate should have a degree of M.D. (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)/M.S.(Obstetrics and Gynaecology) from a recognized University/
Institution or equivalent.
Experience–
The candidate should have 03 years’ teaching experience in the concerned Specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar/ Senior Resident/ Demonstrator/ Tutor in a Recognized Medical College/ Teaching Institution.
Application Fee for UPSC Recruitment 2023:
In accordance with the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidates have to deposit an application fee (non-refundable) of Rs.25 for Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and there is no fee for SC/ST/PwBD/women candidates of any community. Only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.

For Scientific Officer (Electrical)- The candidate will be assigned to work in Kolkata with the liability to serve anywhere in India.
For Technical Officer- The candidate will be assigned to work in New Delhi with the liability to serve anywhere in India.
For Senior Lecturer (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)- The candidate will be assigned to work in Chandigarh.
