Age Limit for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

The age criteria for ICMR Recruitment 2024 are listed below-

• The maximum age limit is 35 years to apply for the post of Technical Officer-B.
• The maximum age limit is 45 years to apply for the post of Technical Officer-C.

Salary for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary as given below-

• The selected candidates for Technical Officer-B will be paid a monthly salary on Pay Level-10 of Pay Matrix (Rs.56100-177500) (7th CPC Scale) and usual allowances as admissible from time to time.
• The selected candidates for Technical Officer-B will be paid a monthly salary on Pay Level-11 of Pay Matrix (Rs.67700-208700) (7th CPC Scale) and usual allowances as admissible from time to time.

Qualification and Experience for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

Candidate should have the required qualifications and experience for applying to ICMR Recruitment 2024 as given below-

For Technical Officer-B (Biomedical Engineering)-

• The applicant must have a 2nd Class Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering Degree with one year working experience in the area of repair/maintenance of Medical/research Equipment, technical installation, inspection and preventive maintenance of medical/scientific equipment.

For Technical Officer-C (Civil Engineering)-

• The applicant must have a First Class Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/ University. And
• The applicant must have Five years of working experience in Planning/ estimation/tendering/supervision of major day-to-day maintenance of civil works/structure, and construction and execution of residential/office complexes, laboratories/animal houses etc. in Govt. Department/Organization, Autonomous Body, PSU etc.

For Technical Officer-C (Electrical Engineering)-

• The applicant must have a First Class Engineering Degree in Electrical from a recognized Institution/ University. And
• The applicant must have Five years of working experience in Planning, estimation, tendering, execution, supervision of Electrical and HVAC works, DG Sets, Transformers, Measurement of Electrical parameters, Distribution and regulation of electrical energy. Transmission and distribution of HT and LT power systems. Day-to-day maintenance of Electrical Installations, attending faults, correspondence and licensing with State Electricity Board Official, Load Budgeting and Billing etc. in Govt. Department/Organization, Autonomous Body, PSU etc.

Selection Process for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

The selection of ICMR Recruitment 2024 will be determined on the basis of Computer Based Test (CBT) and interview. The candidates who qualify the Computer Based Test will be called for an interview. The minimum qualifying marks of CBT will be 50% for all candidates.

Application Fee for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

The application fee is Rs.500 to complete the application form for ICMR Recruitment 2024. The SC/ST/Women/PwBD/Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from the application fee. The payment will be made online through an online payment gateway available at the APPLICATION PORTAL using Debit/ Credit Card/ NetBanking.
