Indian Army Recruitment 2024: The Indian Army is currently accepting applications for Short Service Commissions (SSC) under several departments from qualified single male and single female engineering graduates as well as widows of Indian Armed Forces defence personnel who passed away while serving. The selected candidate for Indian Army Recruitment 2024 are required to serve in the military for 10 years. However, if they choose to do so and are deemed qualified and acceptable for an extension of service in accordance with the terms of engagement that are periodically provided, the aforementioned tenure may be extended by an additional four years. There are 381 openings for the Indian Army Recruitment of 2024. A monthly salary of up to Rs. 250000 will be awarded to the selected candidate for Indian Army Recruitment 2024.
Candidates must have Degree in Engineering course or be in their final year of study to be eligible for the Indian Army Recruitment 2024. The SSC(Tech) Men and SSCW(Tech) Women should be at least 20 years and should not be more than 27 years and widows of Indian Armed Forces defence personnel who died in harness should not be more than 35 years. All the application will be evaluated for qualification and experience, and those who make the short list will be contacted for an interview. The candidates who made the short list will receive information about the selection procedure later. Applicants can apply online via the Indian Army’s official website if they match the eligibility requirements. The online application has already started on 23.01.24 and the deadline to submit an online application is 21.02.24

The chosen applicant for Indian Army Recruitment 2024 shall be liable to serve for 10 years. The said tenure, however, may be extendable by a further period of four years subject to their opting for the same and found eligible and suitable for extension of service as per terms of engagement issued from time to time.
According to the official notification of Indian Army Recruitment 2024, all the applications received will be shortlisted based on qualification and experience. The shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview. The interview will be held at Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka) and Jalandhar Cantt (Punjab).
