Age Limit for SSC Recruitment 2024:

• The candidate’s age should not be more than 45 years.
• The upper age limit not exceeding 50 years is prescribed for promotion to a service/post, it will be relaxed by 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

• The candidate must have passed the 12th standard examination from a recognized Board or equivalent.

For Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service

Quantum of Regular Service– The candidate should have not less than three years regular service as Group “C” employee of the Grade of Multi-tasking staff in the Level-1 in the pay matrix(Rs.18000-56900).

• The candidate should be a Group “C” employee of the Grade of Multi-tasking staff who have passed 12th class examination from a recognized Board.

For Ministry of External Affairs (CPO)-

• The candidate should be an Office Assistant in Level-1 who possesses 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification and have rendered three years regular service in the grade.
