NCERT Class 3, 6 New Syllabus Release: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has notified all the affiliated schools about the release of new syllabus and textbooks for classes 3 and 6 by NCERT and is ordering them to follow the new syllabus only. The board has notified all schools to use only new textbooks that are published by NCERT till 2023.

CBSE is being informed by the National Council of Educational and Training (NCERT) through a letter that states that the new syllabus and textbooks are under process and will soon be released. Accordingly, all the schools are advised to follow the new syllabus and textbooks for classes 3 and 6 rather than the books published till 2023 by NCERT as per the official circular.

CBSE also stated that a bridge course for class 6 and guidelines for class 3 are being prepared by NCERT to improve areas of study aligned with NCF-SE 2023. All the resources will be given or provided to all the affiliated schools once the final guidelines are out by NCERT.

The Board will also organise some events and programmes for school heads and teachers to orient them to new perspectives on teaching.

However, there will be no change in curriculum and textbooks for other classes for the years 2024–25, as per CBSE.
