JEE and NEET Crash Course Popularity in UAE: In India, there are approximately 300 Entrance Exams among which JEE and NEET are deemed to be the most toughest competitive exams in all over India. The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Exams are for students who want to pursue their engineering in the best engineering college in India. JEE is comprised of two different exams which are JEE (Main) and JEE (Advance). National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE- Mains Examinations and the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts the Joint Admission Process for admission in the engineering colleges in which 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), 25 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) campuses and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) are included. As per the data available, Around 11,70,048 students appeared for the JEE Mains 2024 Session 1 Exam. Meanwhile, for JEE Mains 2024 Session 2 Exam approximately 10,67,959 students appeared.
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Exam is pursued by the students who are willing to pursue their undergraduate medical (MBBS), Dental (BDS) and AYUSH(BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc). This Exam is also conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) which provides the results to the Directorate General of Health Services under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and State Counselling Authorities for seat allocation. NEET- UG is a merely Entrance Test for admissions in the MBBS and BDS Colleges in India, Thoroughly. This is also one of the biggest exams in India in terms of registered applicants. Courses are available in government, private institutions in India and in abroad for students who intend to accomplish their primary medical qualification.
Recently, an enormous growth of crash courses for the preparation of JEE and NEET Exams has been analyzed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) which is increasing in this contemporary time. Although these competitive exams contain a tough pattern and extreme competition, participants are paying for crash courses in Dubai in preparation for their respective exams. Consequently, the popularity of crash courses is uplifting in UAE as the crash courses are beneficial to get prepare in a shorter period of time. As per a statement by a student from Abu Dhabi, St. Joseph’s Schools states that “he was preparing for the NEET this year and joined an institute named Cochin from the beginning of his Class 11. By which he would have become able to keep his connectivity with the people pursuing engineering and took tutorial for the preparation of the exam qualify it in the first attempt”.
Despite of that, a student from DPS Dubai was preparing for her medical entrance exams and told that these crash courses could be useful for the students who were preparing for their exams throughout the year in advance and paid for the crash courses for extra preparation which will somehow enhance their performance. However, the students who didn’t prepare in advance and took the last-minute crash course might not get any significant results to crack these competitive exams such as – NEET and JEE.
