DHR ICMR BRET 2024: The DHR-ICMR Non-Medical Fellowship – Biomedical Research Eligibility Test (BRET) for PhD 2024 exam will be held in the following cities, according to a list provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

In order to better serve the candidates, more cities where the DHR-ICMR Non-Medical.

It is suggested that the Fellowship Biomedical Research Eligibility Test (BRET) be administered for the PhD exam in 2024.

Only 20 places were originally chosen to host the exam; however, 11 more towns have been added, according to the list. Below is a list of the cities:

The DHR-ICMR Non-Medical Fellowship for PhD 2024 – Biomedical Research Eligibility Test (BRET) will be administered by NTA. The purpose of the exam is to assess Indian national candidates’ eligibility for the DHR-ICMR Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) program.

Exam Plan for DHR ICMR BRET 2024:

Three sections will make up the test. Multiple-choice, objective-type questions will be included in every section. The papers won’t be separated in any way. The information below describes the subject-wise examination schedule:

  • One paper, lasting two hours, will make up the test.
  • The syllabus specifies that the question paper will be divided into three portions, A, B, and C.
  • Every mandatory question in every segment is worth one mark.
  • For each incorrect response, there will be a deduction of 0.25 points.
  • Questions left unanswered will receive a zero.

Exam Center for DHR ICMR BRET 2024:

Candidates must choose four cities of their choice when completing the online application form.

  • Every attempt will be made to assign a candidate to an examination center in the city of their choosing. However, a test location may be assigned to him/her in a different city or close by for logistical and administrative reasons.
  • Once selected and assigned, the City for Examination Center cannot be altered (after the correction window closes), and requests in this regard will not be considered.

Admit Card for DHR ICMR BRET 2024:

Candidates will receive provisional Admit Cards if all eligibility requirements are met.

  • The applicant must obtain their admit card by downloading it from the NTA website, then show up for the exam at the designated location on the day, time, and exam as specified on the card.
  • No candidate may show up at the testing location at a time or date other than those specified on their admit card.
  • It is recommended that applicants closely read and abide by the directions on their admit card when taking the exam.
  • The applicant may contact the Helpline at any time between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm if there is a disagreement in the information provided, or if the applicant’s photo and signature on the Admit Card and Confirmation Page differ.
  • Candidates in these situations would show up for the exam with their downloaded admit card in hand. NTA will later amend the record by taking the appropriate measures, though.

  • The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) offers ICMR JRF Salary 2024, providing a monthly stipend of Rs. 31,000, a House Rent Allowance (HRA) based on government rules, and an annual contingency grant of Rs. 20,000.

3. Who is eligible for fellowship?

  • Applicant has to be between 20 to 30 years of age. Completed graduation (in any discipline) or will be before the fellowship begins.
