• The candidate should have atleast five years of regular service in the post in the Pay Level 12 of Pay Matrix (Rs 78800-209200/-). or equivalent.

Senior Scientist L-II (Scientist-D)-

• The candidate should be an officer of Central/State Government/Autonomous bodies/Statutory Bodies/ PSUs:
• holding analogous posts on a regular basis. OR
• The candidate should have atleast five years of regular service in posts in Pay Level 11 of Pay Matrix (Rs 67700- 208700/-) or equivalent.

Environmental Engineer-

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in a related field, from a recognized University or Institution with eight years’ experience in pollution control or a related field subject after acquiring the Bachelor’s Degree.
• The candidate should have or Master’s degree in Engineering in a related field, from a recognized University or Institution with six years’ experience in pollution control or a related field subject after acquiring the Master’s Degree. The relevant field of Engineering is Civil/Environment.

Additional Director(Scientific)-

• The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Science having atleast fifteen years’ experience in pollution control or related subjects. or Doctorate in Science having atleast ten years of experience in pollution control or related subjects.

Senior Scientist L-II (Scientist-D)-

• The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Science and have atleast thirteen years of experience in pollution control or related subjects or a Doctorate in Science.
