On a contract basis, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is seeking candidates for the positions of Assistant Advisor and Joint Advisor in land acquisition. According to the official NHAI Recruitment 2024 notification, there are 02 vacancies for the assigned position.

Age Limit for NHAI Recruitment 2024:

The age limit for the aforementioned position should not exceed 65 years old, per the official NHAI Recruitment 2024 notification.

Eligibility for NHAI Recruitment 2024:

Referring to the official notification of NHAI Recruitment 2024, applicant should have the following eligibility.

Joint Advisor (Land Acquisition)

• Applicant should be a Retired officer form Central/State Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies at the level equivalent to a Deputy Collector/ District Revenue Officer/Tehsildar equivalent with experience of 10 years in Revenue Department (Govt. of Maharashtra).

Assistant Advisor (Land Acquisition)

• Candidate should be a Retired Revenue Officials at the level equivalent to Kanungo, Patwaris, with good understanding of Revenue matters and experience in Land acquisition in Revenue Department (Govt. of Maharashtra).

Experience for NHAI Recruitment 2024:

According to the official notification of NHAI Recruitment 2024, candidate should have the following experience in the given below.

Joint Advisor (Land Acquisition)

• Candidate should be a Retired officer form Central/State Government/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies at the level equivalent to a District Revenue Officer/Tehsildar equivalent with experience of 10 years in Revenue Department (Govt. of Maharashtra).

Assistant Advisor (Land Acquisition)

• Candidate should be a Retired Revenue Officers of Central / State Government / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies retired at the level equivalent to Kanungo, Patwaris or above.
• Applicant must have at least 10 years minimum experience in the relevant Revenue Department in Govt. of Maharashtra and have an in-depth understanding of the current land acquisition process.
• Prior experience as Assistant Advisor (LA) in any NHAI office is preferred.

Tenure for NHAI Recruitment 2024:

As given in the official notification of NHAI Recruitment 2024, the candidate will initially be recruited for a tenure period of 02 years, with the possibility of an additional year’s extension based on NHAI requirements and the candidate’s successful performance. There shall be no extension of contract beyond the period of 03 years under any circumstances. NHAI reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time, without assigning any reason.

Remuneration for NHAI Recruitment 2024:

The selected candidate will be paid a monthly salary between Rs. 40000  to Rs. 125000, as stated in the official notification of 2024.

Place of Posting for NHAI Recruitment 2024:

In accordance with the official notification of 2024 notification, the applicant will be assigned to Regional Office in Mumbai.
