BPSC 70th Prelims 2024 Exam: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is anticipated to end the registrations for the BPSC 70th Prelims 2024 Exam today, November 4, 2024. Candidates interested in applying for the BPSC 70th Prelims Exam this year may register at the official website (S), bpsc.bih.nic.in and onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in using their login credentials. Before registering for the exam, candidates will first need to create their one-time registration (OTR) profiles at any of the above-listed websites. Candidates who have already an OTR profile will just need to log their profile using the required credentials.
The application fee for the BPSC 70th Prelims 2024 Exam is Rs. 600 for the General category candidates and for SC, ST, permanent resident female candidates of Bihar, and disabled category candidates the application fee is Rs. 150. Candidates filling out the application forms must possess a Graduate degree. Earlier the last date to register for the exam was October 18, however, it was extended and today is the last date for registrations. Through the extended application window, candidates are allowed to update their OTR (One-Time Registration) profile details but not their name, mother’s name, father’s name, and date of birth.
Earlier the BPSC 70th Prelims 2024 was open to fill up 1,957 vacancies, but recently, the Bihar Public Service Commission has added 70 more seats to it. Now the exam will be held to fill up 2,027 departments of the Bihar government. As per the reports till now, the authority is expected that this year approximately 7 to 8 lakh candidates will appear for the exam. As this is a huge number, hence to ensure candidates do not face any problems, the commission has extended the exam date. Now the exam is scheduled to be held on two different dates i.e., December 13 and 14, earlier the date was November 17, 2024.
