ICFRE Recruitment 2024: The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill up the 17 posts of LIA (Library Information Assistant), LDC (Lower Division Clerk), and Muti-Tasking Staff (MTS) in the ICFRE-Institute of Wood Science and Technology (IWST), Bengaluru. The candidates should not be below the age of 18 years and not exceeding the age of 27 years. The candidates who are selected will be paid a monthly salary up to Level 06 of the 7th CPC.
According to the official notification of ICFRE Recruitment 2024, The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test and a typewriting test. Candidates are required to pay a Non-Refundable Application Fee of Rs.800 (Rs.500 Application Fee + Rs.300 processing fee) for General/OBC/EWS Candidates and SC/ST/PH/Women candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee only against the reserved posts. However, the processing fee of Rs.300 has to be paid through the mode of Demand Draft in favor of the Director, Institute of Wood Science & Technology, payable at Bengaluru. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as stated in the official notification of ICFRE Recruitment 2024 may submit their application form along with the necessary documents to the address indicated below. Application received after the due date will be summarily rejected.

The selection of ICFRE Recruitment 2024 will be made on the basis of a written test. The syllabus for the written exam comprises objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs) related to General Awareness, Mental ability and Reasoning, General English (qualifying), and Library Science-25 marks.

To apply for ICFRE Recruitment 2024, the candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.800 (Rs.500 as an application fee + Rs.300 as a processing fee). The SC/ST/PH/Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee only against the reserved posts. However, the processing fee of Rs.300. The payment will be made through Demand Draft from any nationalized bank drawn in favour of ‘Director, Institute of Wood Science and Technology’ payable at Bengaluru by all the category candidates.
